(1-16 cumulative = 9976 exp, to get 1-30 = 40083) Which would mean if I won every game, it would take roughly 60 games to get to 30k exp, winning 500 per game. But realistically it seems impossible, because half of those games you would probably lose, meaning you get only ~200 exp per win. So if you played 60 games, only won half of them, you'd end up with roughly 21k~ exp. Then if I played 30 more games, won half of them, i'd end up with around ~10.5k exp.
I guess what i'm trying to say is this: is it possible to play 90 games of league in 3 days?
Ill take the potential troll bait here.
Yeah, if you stay up for three days straight lol. Unless you can win like 85% of your games I'd say forget it (games last 30-45min each on average not including pick phase/loading).

Not trolling x.x;
I was just curious to see if it was physically possible to play that many games in that short amount of time, as the other poster said in order to play 30 games per day it would take roughly 20 hours, so it probably isnt worth it. I'm still going to try though I think :x

What do you guys build on AP teemo post DFG nerf? Is rylai's good on teemo? He only has one skill that it really works with, but the 35% slow is pretty nice to have on top of the blind and teemo appreciates the extra health (and doesn't really use the extra mana from RoA that effectively)

Nashors tooth -> Deathcap - > Voidstaff.

Isn't it very mana-heavy to use your shrooms more or less as soon as they're available? I remember being basically oom as soon as I started shrooming consistently when playing bruiser Teemo.

I guess what i'm trying to say is this: is it possible to play 90 games of league in 3 days? For one thing, I'm pretty sure the per win boosts and the timed boosts stack additively, not multiplicatively, so you are getting closer to 330 XP per win 30 games per day is like 20 hours per day. It might be physically possible but I don't think one person could do it. And if you actually try for it Riot's servers are going to randomly crap out for 6 hours in the middle of the night (murphy's law) and it won't work probably Show nested quote +On November 03 2012 01:54 Requizen wrote:On November 03 2012 01:52 Praetorial wrote: OK. Shouldn't Shen make a loud bang noise when he ults, since he's displacing air? Technically, any instantaneous dash effect (Talon's jump, for example), breaks the speed of light and violates several laws of physics, and should render the person dead or falling apart at the molecular level. Teleporation is different, of course, since you're simply transposing atoms from one position to another, but dashes/charges that are fast enough should kill you. It's not instantaneous, it takes 1/60 of a second (assuming 60fps), so he's traveling significantly slower than the speed of light. Accelerations upwards of ~300m/s^2 are deadly to the human body. The range on Talon's jump is 700 units. From a cursory glance at his in-game model (assuming he is a standard-sized human male), and the range on Cutthroat, we can assume he jumps about 5 "body widths", or ~3.4 meters (rough estimation) in that 1/60th of a second. That puts his jump speed at ~204 m/s.
Given that he can start from rest, his acceleration would be ~12,240 m/s^2. Speeds like that would crush his bones and internal organs by the time he reached the target.

Riot really smart with their free RP. I'm sitting on 240 RP atm which can't really buy anything except XP boost for 3 days. Is it worth getting when I go on holiday?

I don't build Rylai's on Viktor anymore (I know my thread isn't updated). 2 DRing, Augment, straight to DCap. No DFG, nothing fancy. Just straight, unadulterated, burst to the face. In the last few days alone I've gotten at least 3 people who say "wtf, nerf Viktor".
People don't play him because he's not easy to play. It took me 50 games to really get confident with all this abilities. 200 games after that, I'm still getting better at him. But with a 60% win rate with 250 ranked games, I can confidently say he's an incredibly strong mid laner with very few weak matchups. A lot of that is attributed to his zone control, and yes, his ridiculous AOE burst. Even Viktor(s) themselves seem surprised when you tell them their ult has a 0.5s silence upon casting, Blitz style. I'm surprised that you don't like rylai though, sure you'd never rush something like that with such a blatant midgame power peak, but once the fight start to last longer, blue buff (or grail, morello, anything with 15%+ cdr) and rylai makes him a powerful kiter thanks to Q shield+slow to survive a dive, W to ensure you can run, and then with the cdr and mp5 you can continually kite people with W+E. If they're low damage enough (say, Malph, Amumu or a Cho that didn't went for a lot of AP) your Q can be enough to make both of you unkillable and just have to each go his way. I usually pick up rylai after deathcap for that, never initiating and waiting for my time to come (if they can see me I'll poke with E, if not I'll often try to remain hidden so they don't know where I'll attack from), then if they eat some AoE cc or engage on us I'll ult their squishies/cluster, E them, and use Q and W either to slow a diver then slow him further/stun him to protect my carries, or to burst a squishy harder and keep people in the ult's AoE with gravity field. I really need to train my Syndra though. But I'm not good enough to play anything more than Viktor/Ryze/Orianna consistently at my Elo, and I want to play ranked games so I can dream and maybe reach gold. :< It's really a matter of what you want. I love Rylai's as an item. It's expensive though, and gives you less burst but more tankiness than Void Staff. If I get it, I get it late to give me more utility in late game fights. Depends on how the game goes.
I generally go Double Dorans->Augment->Lvl 2 Boots and then deathcap-rylais, the order depending on the mid matchup/their team/how well i'm doing. After that I usually just tailor to the game, but I guess it's usually Void Staff and Zhonyas.

I don't care about the physics in LoL being right one bit. Magic is magic and explains most things. Rappel is still stupid though. Explain it (with magic as a component if you wish) that doesn't make it stupid. She summons a roof to rappel on? That's not cool at all.
Fizz, btw, opens a portal in the ground for this shark, which is awesome. Look at the animations, there's water shooting out as the shark emerges and as it lands.
God, I'm arguing realism in a video game...BUT RAPPEL IS STUPID!!! >.<

Well you could always say it's just an illusion and she actual walks over to the enemy but they see it as her disappearing into the sky Maybe she uses illusion no venom

6:30 PM, twitch starts lagging like mad. T_T You guys are annoying talking about WoDx, his stream's really good and informative, now I'm spending a lot of time listening to it. >.>

At least it's just your twitch. Come 7ish PM I warp around in LoL, nothing else lags. So I can only LoL during the day
Also yesterday I noticed something really interesting on WoDx stream. At around 3 minutes he got ganked and killed. He was really surprised at this and said something along the lines of "wow that was a fast gankg, he must have ran straight here. However I watched Locos stream the other day where around 3 minutes he said something like "I need to be careful for gank now as juggler would be finished his path by now and looking for gank top". Just found it interesting a non-top seems to know jungle paths more than an actual top.

I find it hard to believe, that WoDx would not know that you can get ganked by 3min mark. It must be something about the jungler, whos route was different then normal. Remember WoDx used to play jungler too, so maybe he thought the enemy jungle was using a different route or something.

It was skarner. I also found it really odd how surprised he was. He was riven and even went aggressive at that point where he was defensive beforehand. Maybe he just wasn't paying attention and said some snap remark. Now he's talking about being camped when he just got ganged twice then left completely alone. Get what Shake was saying :<

Depending on where they start, which side they're on, and the clear speed, it's not the same. Maybe WoDx was talking about something like a Maokai doing wraiths->blue->red to get level 3 and immediatly gank that side, as opposed to the "standard" path of wolves->blue->wraiths->wolves->red, which ganks later.
He was also towerdove by the enemy mid and jungler in the current game, it's not being camped but it sure is more than a simple gank. He also said he should have seen it coming and died because of his mistake.

He was blue, so was loco. I think he had a mao, can't remember. Also there was another situation where he ran mid while his team was doing dragon then walked into enemy team and died. He then went on about why didn't his team help him when he just got completely caught out of position for no reason
Really cool stream though. Just think people being a little too ummm school girl crushy?
