Sona auto+Q (especially with power chord) out-trades Iceball so much it's not even funny. Then she goes back into bush, W, and is only 1 more cast away from another power chord. EDIT: It's rough right at level 1 - Sona comes out of bush with a powerchord auto + Q, immediately putting you on the defensive and able to play aggressively because you're now low. Any amount of trade you do to her in lane is negated by the fact that 1) they're pushing the lane, and 2) they're zoning you, which lets her get level 2 first and able to heal. The only solace you get is that they tend to push the lane so you can farm a bit better, and you can assist ganks if you land iceball, but they can harass you even at your tower while keeping the whole place warded, and E away when your jungler comes. It's a losing matchup unless you significantly outclass the Sona team. | ||

Edit: On Aphro's stream Muffinqt said that Voyboy "had to think" if he even wanted to try out for MME, so he doesn't seem super interested, not as a first option anyway. | ||

Well, I think he was referencing the big 3-4 teams in NA, CLG/TSM/DIG/CRS, something that has big base salary, and actually has continual showings in tourneys. | ||
