None of those reasons imply that the mode you play her in has to, nor should be ranked. Ranked is the best place to learn to play a champ, or arranged 5s. Normal Draft might be ok these days I guess.

ranked solo is the best place to tryhard, except if you are high elo. if you are below 2k rating I would say it is unfair if you try out new champs or any champ you don't know. I've done this alot though but I regret it. People want to win measure their skill in ranked games. So not trying your best is disrespectful to your teammates and opponents. If you don't know the basics of a champ like common matchups strengths and weaknesses then you basicly ask for getting carried and dismiss the fact everyone should play his best.

A quick glance on LoLking will show you that all other 9 players play random champs in ranked.
Like below 5 games for 40 champs.

Long time lurker here.
What happened to Diana? Obviously at release she was everywhere but I barely see her anymore, despite the fact that she is still really strong. I don't know about her jungle but I am having a lot of success mid lane with her. Reminds me a lot of Kassadin, she has trouble in a lot of lanes pre-6 but once she has her ult landing any Q's at all is pretty terrifying. Guess just another case of a champ getting nerfed and people immediately dropping them without trying them out post-nerf.
On a related note, has anyone here been using her much and if so, what have you been building? I put in about 20 games or so in the last two weeks with her and still haven't settled on a consistent build.

so i'm going for diamond in 3s today i think we can get it in 4 wins, possibly 5 would people be interested in a guide to powergrinding twisted treeline for plat/diamond?

I have yet to see an eve lose a game out of like 10 at 1500.

So guys, I have some news for you, but I want you to keep it on the down low because I don't want Riot to hear about it. The new Kat is ridiculously strong. Like OP. She actually has absolutely no counters anymore. I think the only champ that I think could give her some trouble would be Galio, and I haven't tried that one yet, but I still imagine it would be close or a skill matchup that relies a lot on jungle presence.
On champion select, I've faced all her counters and absolutely dominated them. I don't think I was particularly better than my opponent, there is just not much that they can do. Kat has free harrass, can shove lane incredibly hard, go get kills in other lanes, and if they try to trade, she can all in them during their cooldowns and shut them down...

I would be interested in how you are playing TT my team is 7-0 now but we are starting to get really close games, this is probably becuase we are all pretty bad at LoL. We have been running Trynd top, Ahri bot, and Nunu in jungle pretty much every game.

Ssong (Mid player for Najin Sword) played it against Azubu Blaze with great success, from that match I concluded that you need to roam alot and use the 2 people bot lane as a food. Enemy jungler ganking bot lane? Eve there to kill. Your jungler ganking bot lane? Eve there to kill. The VOD should be up on ognlol.com I believe
Top might be a bit harder as you are usually the same level as a bruiser up there, so not as bursty as bot lane. But could still be doable.

Too many champs syndrome, there is like 25+ viable mids and some gimmicky ones on top of that. Combine that with the fact that she is not as braindead easy to dominate with as before her nerfs and people just stop playing her. She is still good though. Can farm well, still snowballs really hard and punishes mistakes like no other.
I've played her quite a bit. Going Sorcs+Abyssal+DFG into something out of Deathcap/Zhonyas/GA/Void depending on the game. Also sometimes skipping Abyssal for a while when I don't need it, DFG is the only real core item imo.

That'd be cool; you'd have to dodge it guided only by sound :D just like Kog'maw's ult (disregard the dot in the ground)

We have just been playing champions we are good at since none of us have any idea what the standard way of playing 3v3 is. So far it has worked well since Nunu can gank top at lvl 3 and get a kill pretty much every time getting Trynd fed while Ahri can hold her own against two bot. But like I said we have no idea what we are doing which is why I was interested in how gtrsrs was playing 3v3.

Asshole is OP on TT not leaving him up) in favor of a mega teamfight-team and generally do pretty damn well. I think we've only lost to one team since we've started running this comp.
