I don't understand how there are things about champions and the game that even the pros who play 24/7 don't know.
.. Everytime someone says "...that even the pros don't know" it's a reference to hotshot lol. Hotshot's a donk when it comes to LoL he hasn't been world class for over a year it feels like.

Because at high levels of play, 'good play' is expected. I'm fucking 1400 and even I know shit like that. Hotshot has been playing longer and probably 10 000 hours more than I have AND PLAYS THIS GAME FOR A LIVING. It's his JOB to know. No excuses.
u dont know something until u learn it he tried jungling as darius and didnt know it, wow he's so bad except he knows now, does that make him good? your argument doesnt make sense i dont think u even know what 'good play' is, because hotshot has been making tons of good plays on streams its always little guys complaining about guys above them to satisfy themselves and its making me sick

When your playing at the highest lvl being "good" really isnt enough anymore and the amount of dumb things coming out of his mouth really make you wonder just how far the entire scene still has to go.

Hotshot level reasoning right there. I don't really know since I don't follow what he says and dos much and I have only watched his stream once. That was when Volibear was just released and he played top vs another Volibear in blind pick, got stomped and was shouting "What the fuck? Riot is so stupid! What the fuck?" over and over.

You guys are arguing over dumb shit. You can look at any player and find positives and negatives. You can't judge what's acceptable and what's not it's the results that matter. If hotshots been doing well in solo queue recently great because CLG NA needs him to step up his game. If he does stupid shit still well its more evidence that he wasn't up to par in the past. It's all perspective in the end.
There is no arguing that Hotshot is one of the worst jungle at pro level. There are things he just don't do : almost never ganks, almost never invade, he almost always get overfarmed by the ennemy jungler. He always play the same type of jungler (tanky with utility, like alistar, cho gath, mundo) and basically build them in order to tank the baron / kill wards. It's not that he is bad, it's just that his jungle is very very restricted to one style of play, a style of play that basically evolve around the idea that your team mates have to do everything in lane without you.
I dunno....I'm almost sorry I brought this up since it seems to be provoking an unprecedented level of rage in our friend Outlaw here (who may also be trolling but fuck if I know), but at the same time, like I said, it's his JOB to make sure he is at the highest standard of play. If I hired a plumber to fix my bathroom sink and he started to fix it, fucked it up, then said to me "Oh sorry, I haven't practiced this before," would that be acceptable? May not be the most appropriate analogy, but it stands to reason he is being paid to have a certain knowledge and skill level. What if Hotshot played Jungle Darius in a tournament and fucked up a Baron for his team because of lack of knowledge? If he doesn't know that, who knows what else he doesn't know?
As an aside, if we lowly plebians weren't allowed to criticize any of the pros levels of play, you wouldn't have sports commentators either.
fyi the game with the failed smite he was 9 4 4 at the time and just now he was 12 0 1 in 16 minutes
well obviously he has to practice darius first, right? right? so that he learns everything about him somewhere where shit doesnt matter (soloq) u want someone to improve without making mistakes and thats why this discussion never really had any point in my eyes

Of course there is arguing. That's how OPINIONS work.
Let's say we could agree that currently his style of play is quite restricted. I've yet to see him play a mobile hero that ganks a lot such as rammus or lee sin.
he played rammus twice today he doesnt play lee sin. nor skarner. ill agree that his champ pool is limited. but check your shit before making statements

It's not about how he performed in the game, or even his performance in recent tourneys or whatever. It's about his status as a pro player and the level of skill/knolwedge that is supposed to accompany it. I suppose I can understand that he's never played Darius before and was trying him out for the first time, ok. But the fact that Darius has been out for MONTHS and he has played AGAINST him in various tournaments at the pro level, and solo q games, and scrims, and not known this is also a glaring testament to how much he knows/cares about the game. What if he was going up AGAINST a jungle Darius and he thought the guy would smite at 1k hp becuase of ult damage? He would miss the smite steal and screw it up.
There are plenty of people who are not being paid to be good at the game who figure this basic stuff out from the first day new champions are put on the PBE.
