I don't think the anecdote is particularly interesting because of Dyrus' skill with Rumble, but rather his very extensve experience playing Vlad. He probably experienced that Vlad has problems laning against Rumble personally, which prompted him to pick Rumble against Vlad. But he did have a little Rumble spree a little while back on solo queue, so he might have picked it up the other way around. But since he's a big Vlad player, he must have at least seen the merit of Rumble against Vlad from both ends and decided that it's sound.

I always felt champions that could farm well under tower or have massive sustain and don't passively push were good choices. Sure you can try to duel him earlish but with all those magic pen builds its a lot worse now.

rumble was nerfed in recent patch too reduced flamespliter dmg and some other stuff too

I feel like Jayce goes even with him the times I've played it, not overwhelming victories unless I severely outplay him. It is a pretty easy farm lane, though.

Jayce can easily turn any lane into a farm lane if the worst happens, he's just really solid.

So, random bug: My Graves model spawned upside down for me.
I have no idea how it happened. Graves has 5 weird dots on his crotch. My teammates swear that they couldn't see it, and his windmilling legs made me so god damn dizzy by the end of the game.
But I was giggling the entire time. I wonder if I can get that to happen again.

Nah, I was more amused, and then dizzy. It was just a bot game on my Smurf. I was in fact stupid and did not take any pictures, thus ensuring that it actually didn't happen and I'm just telling a CSB.
I'm hoping it happens again though. The fact my teammates couldn't see it made me think it's just my client being buggy and hiccuping more than anything else.

He was known for playing rumble long before he was known for playing vlad.

I could have swore there was some player, I want to say a Chinese or Korean one, that Yango or someone was talking about that picked Vlad into Rumble and Rumble into Vlad. Said something about it being a purely skill dependant match up. I can't remember though, hopefully that's accurate.

Yeah jayce can turn many lanes into a farm lane. The question is whether you want to. A lot of champs can turn many lanes into farm lanes, and in my opinion all the ranged autoattack tops: nid, kayle, teemo can too.

iirc it was about kennen and vlad, not rumble and vlad

It's Stanley picking Kennen/Vlad. And it's probably less even now than it was before with the Kennen range nerf.

Wickd did the same with some champions afaik. Malphite+jax(?) and renekton+irelia. When he was asked "what beats irelia?" he answered: "I beat irelia".
