Dont know about that but Morde generally is really good vs melee

Akali however can harrass him plenty before he can get into full force with her Q autos but still from my experience morde murders things like Jax

I don't see why he would be more effective there then any other ad carry. Probably less, since he is very gankable.

Draven is ridiculous if you get past the laning phase and you're in good shape. Dude can kite all day long and deal nutso damage on top of that. I think laning is what will hold him back, but I get the feeling people are going to be screaming for nerfs eventually once they realize how out of control he can get with perma blood rush (provided you can catch axes reliably).

I wouldn't be surprised if top/mid are better than bottom for him though. His range is a bit limiting and he's not exactly strong early on... that being said, dude is scary good at chasing people down and getting away from enemies if he's not hard cced repeatedly.

His "huge "MS boost is 60% for just 1.5 seconds on a 12 second CD which in terms of escapes is terrible. With boots 1 (355 speed) a press of W (514 speed) for 1.5 seconds means you travel 238 more units you would have if you hadn't pressed W. That's less than any blink in the game and it's also vulnerable to slows (since slows > hastes in LoL). Subsequent Ws are even less effective since you have to stop to throw the axe (which also means you're in CC range).

I don't think he will be OP. With perfect 1 axe catching you're talking non-ult vayne levels of DPS, yes, but his range is standard and it feels like any and all CC instantly make you lose your axes/DPS.

Too many Dravens obsessed with catching the axe and farming with the axe for no real reason, when this phase passes the true strength of Draven can be assessed.
