Team OP and NaJin e-mfire advance as expected. Although Team OP beating Najin still a surprise. Quaterfinals starting to get stacked.

Checking enemy blue/red for stray champs and then pushing back into their own blue suspecting an invade. It seems very strong. Is this common at all vs the straight invade and steal buff? It is the first time I see it in tournament play too, so I guess it's not very common. It's pretty difficult to manage a normal invade, so I feel like this would be impossible to prepare in solo/duo queue... However this does seem quite strong. A lane will lose some CS, but the team will get a kill because they will outnumber them. If they are not outnumbered, then the both opposing laners will be behind in CS, so no one woulb be behind. I like this.

First Game + Show Spoiler + MiG Blaze > Team Hunters MiG strong as always. And with Blaze at a comparable level to Frost, I can't see them not crushing this game. Second Game + Show Spoiler + Startale > Fnatic Fnatic are still solid. But they're not playing Startale. They're playing Startale, Xenics and everyone else who helps them. I can't see Fnatic getting past that wall. Winner's Game + Show Spoiler + MiG Blaze > Startale MiG still king. Loser's Game + Show Spoiler + Fnatic > Team Hunter This is a toss up since I don't know much about Hunters apart from random solo queue stuff from CLG stream. But if Fnatic should have the advantage in a Bo1 if they pull off their super-coordinated assassin comp or something. If they still haven't learned how to punish Korean aggression though, they'll likely lose though. Final Game + Show Spoiler + Startale > Fnatic Rematch of the second game. And I still can't see Fnatic getting past Startale.

Corki top. Double Melle Bot. Ezreal top. Or are they just teams that aren't that great trying to cheese some victories? I can't tell for sure...

*edit - Xenic's jungle LS is particularly interesting of the ones that I looked at. 0/21/9 going with run speed runes. Ultimate closer. http://www.ognlol.com/league/schedule/w02_w01/w_team02

Good for split pushing I guess... but why on Sona? lol I could see it being useful for those long drawn out 5v5 skirmishes (or 4v5 with someone split pushing) at a base tower when a team is pushing with baron and they can only get a few pot shots off on the tower every minion wave. Maybe it takes 2-3 less hits to kill with 190 armor instead of 200, doubt it makes much of a difference though. Interesting though. He also likes the 40 bonus experience on kill/assist.

Most are really bad, which is expected since many are actually casual group of players instead of actual team in my understanding. The team capable of competing with the foreign teams in this league (CLG, fnatic) would be two MiG teams and Xenics Storm. Startale might surprise us in the upcoming game though, since they also have bit of experience from operating SC2 division.

Not too sure how much of that was the other 2 teams being bad though. As for Startale... We'll know tomorrow All in all, i think MiG, MiG B, Xenics, Najin and OP currently play better than Fnatic does, so they're automatically placed above mid-tier EU proteams in my mind (think WW, MYM, ...) until they win games against better opponents.

To say the least, KR scene a different playstyle from NA and EU. Even if we're talking simply about picks and bans.
