If you're far out enough that the enemy jungler can get a melee autoattack on you before you get to your tower, I'd consider that overextended. | ||

I'm assuming this was when red buff still gave the 30% slow with ranged champions, which made it impossible to run away if you got hit once. One ranged AD could kite any number of people equal to the number of autos he could get off in one second. | ||

Red used to be as strong on ranged champions as it is now on melee champions. On top of that, the slow for both was stronger than what it is now for melees. I'm not exactly sure when Guinsoo posted that, but before you could feed redbuff to mid Ezreal and his ganks would proc redbuff at 1k range, slowing you for 20% at level 6 or higher. | ||
