About time they fixed those bugs on Kass and Kog. Still no idea where people get the "Sivir buff" idea from. Ok, she's gonna be better as a replacement for other ranged ADs (some mix of Cait and Graves), but she's gonna suck at the thing she was good at: Damaging the back row of the enemy team while autoattacking the front row. She went from a split-pushing and lifesteal-tanking niche character to a short range kiting character that plays like any ranged AD with a couple of random skills. Maybe she's gonna be really good, I don't know. But even if she turns out OP I wouldn't call it a buff because she's not the same anymore. | ||

The Hp pot nerf is starting to make dorans openings look a little more appealing for top laners. Removing 250 effective health from a cloth+5pots opening is pretty awesome imo. I always hated opening cloth+5pots for nearly every matchup as Riven. Now when I open Boots+3pots there is only a 300hp difference instead of 400. I guess that isn't too big but every little bit counts. | ||

Granted there generally weren't many successful ganks in competitive play as there are counter measures against it (playing cautious until the jungler is spotted, warding everywhere), if Riot plans on ever trying to limit the amount of wards and decreasing cautious lane play then it would be a step in the right direction to both tone down jungler ganks and make it a more costly exercise. I don't think a fiddle should be rewarded for clearing the jungle and camping bot lane brush until he can successfully get an ult on them. We don't really want teams to HAVE to ward a specific place or lose the game (ie fiddle gets double kill, team gets bot tower + dragon). I would rather have junglers afk farm, have riot limit the amount of wards you can have on the map and let mid laners and supports take a more active role in ganking. At least when people are missing from lane you can feel ok about playing a bit passive because you know they are missing out on exp/gold to attempt to gank someone, with junglers in LoL you will go back to base at full hp and full mana even if your destroying your lane just because you don't have a ward. I'm all for warding distinguishing player skill somewhat but it doesn't even do that in LoL right now since you have unlimited supply, they are cheap, and they prevent certain death from jungler ganks so it's always the right choice to put a ward down wherever you want. | ||

I was saying this even before the second stonewall video, too, just based on info we had. Hell, counterjungling might even be easier, who knows. With pots less effective, that healing sigil is gonna be important for a lot of junglers. I expect in top level arranged games, yeah, we won't see as many gank attempts, but given gank attempts' failure at top level, that's not strange. We'll probably see MORE counterjungling from them, especially when one side doesn't have a superfarmy jungle. | ||
