But yea, leaving 1 stinger and moving on to something else before finishing nashor's is probably kosher. Huh, dunno why I thought it was non-unique. Nashor's CDR just feels like overkill, seeing as there are so many other CDR sources that are also all very good for him--Shurelya's, Spirit Visage, Frozen Heart, Randuin's Omen are all items I can see myself buying on him, so I don't feel it's 100% necessary to cap out just on 1 item when I'm pretty likely to pick up another 15%-20% CDR from the situational tanky shit. back in the day when ap kayle was all the rage, I always used to get rageblade -> nashors. Worked like a charm once I got nashors. This was before CDR boots was released, so I just used nashors to max my CDR. Sadly ap kayle is long dead Personally I always felt Rageblade->Ghostblade was better on her, particularly when E autoattacks counted as melee for the purpose of resetting the GB active duration.

no love for shurelya's
how sad

da. Build a philo stone early, then a kindlegem. Leave them like that for a bit while you lane and then when things start really warranting the extra CDR and active, upgrade to a reverie.

Stupid Skyyart. Now every game I play has a nasus in it. It isnt fun to have to base a gameplan around "dont let nasus farm too much early, oh crap he did anyway, ah well, lets just go where nasus isnt."

Yeah, I usually just ask people to switch lanes so a ranged ends up against Nasus. Even if a melee on your team gets less farm, it's better than Nasus running around 2 shotting fools.
I love how this happens with tournaments. A champion is actually really good but no one uses them because they don't have any competitive showing, then one person dominates with them and everyone starts playing that champ.

Since when is "Let's just go where nasus isn't" a good strategy? He's one of the fastest turret killers in the game, lategame and with enough farm he doesn't even need a minion wave to kill you outright.

CDR Boots + Glacial Shroud is so silly on Nasus. +18 Q on every creepwave (21 on Seige Waves, lololol).

His w will lock down a carry, his q 2 shot them, his e shreds everyones armor, and his r shreds everyones hp.
IMO the best way to play out a game with a farmed hypercarry is to just avoid them and try to get uneven fights. Ill trade a tower for a partial ace and inhibitor.

Maybe stick someone like tristana top vs Nasus? From my experience, if Nasus wants to farm he's going to farm no matter what you try to counter him with be it garen, renekton, or rumble - he's going to get farmed if he isn't stupid. Might as well stick someone else to farm up with him.

have kog maw on your team -> GG Nasus.
I dunno, Nasus is really strong, but if you don't cluster up like a bunch of downies, his teamfight presence is awkward at best and he's really easy to kite. biggest problem vs. Nasus IMO is when his TP is up and he split pushes since he downs towers faster than Master Yi/Shaco with a farmed Q and can actually attrition down towers vs. a fast creep clearer by just smacking them for 500 HP chunks at a time while they clear creeps.

Plus, you know, Teemo.

Problem gets to be is that if you take the tower, then he just farms at his second tower. But eventually he WILL get at least a decent q, and even that is fucking annoying.
Req- wrong- Rumble, renek, will shut his farm down.

I've been murdering Nasuses with Jarman, but most Jarmans need to get on my level, so it's probably just me.

Was this before or after you gave him first blood?

Oh, I'm very sure, but I honestly don't see either of them enough to know. Nasus has been increasingly popular, though, especially in blind pick.

I think full armor runes + cloth + 5 pots kind of ruins any chance for renekton to shut him down to any level. It does take nasus a fairly long time before he can actually beat renekton 1v1 though, but eventually he will be able to.
I have not dealt with rumble, it's probably harder.

counterpick nasus with pantheon pantheon will win that matchup 100% of the time even against cloth + 5 pots nasus with armor page and defensive masteries

I have not dealt with rumble, it's probably harder. I actually faced that (cloth+5) yesterday. It basically just game down to throwing qw at him every opportunity I got. A gank helped too, and renek is one of the best at supporting ganks. Then I got a bruta and it was just over.
