Most of my teammates just completely ignored the lee sin completely since his damage and shields were negligible (one maybe 2 shots blocked from the IE/PD/BT caitlyn). The big thing I feel is his problem is the fact hes way better as an AD then a support

I have played damn many games as jungle olaf somewhere around 60-80. I have observed that its very very hard to gank with him. Even to blow their flash is hard unless they are completely retarded and overextended. It takes only one caitlyn knockback or soraka silence to make your ganks useless. I just prefer to powerfarm jungle. The problem just comes in elohell when my teammates who push their lanes ask for ganks all the time. So I dont really have problems myself with not being able to gank but its more of my team's issue :D

Jungle Olaf can't really gank unless a lane is overextended, but if a lane is overextended his ganks are so strong. He remains one of the fastest junglers in the game so there really is nothing wrong with just powerfarming in the jungle. It's important to announce this in pre-game chat in no uncertain terms though, that way at least when your teammates yell at you you have something concrete to throw back at them to say they are bad.
Olaf is also a pretty good counterjungler, especially post-Wriggles. He can clear camps extremely quickly and is capable of soloing most junglers (especially post-6) when he has blue buff.

If you want to try something weird as support, go support teemo !
A blind for the ad carry duel, huge mobility, the passive let you invade the jungle for warding, shrroms make for more map control than a traditional support !

Olaf advantages:
CC immunity is really powerful
Superfast and variable jungle
Situationally strong ganks
Disadvantages:
Unsafe jungle (mitigated by the speed, but counterjungle Evelynn makes me cry)
Outlaned by most similar champs
Not a huge dragon threat
Slow clear without blue or wriggles (though this is many champs)
Needs farm
This is the big one. Olaf without farm does nothing. Lee Sin without farm can still dash in and hurt some people, screw them up a bit with ult, etc. Pretty decent damage, dashes back out, lives.
Olaf without farm either builds pure tank and relies on E for damage (and 85 true damage per second isn't actually going to scare most people, especially since olaf isn't going to last that long himself) or he builds DPS and gets blown up.
Olaf needs a lot of health to spam E, a lot of resists to stay alive, enough CDR to spam axe, and whatever's left goes into DPS so he hurts. If he's farmed, he's unstoppable...
but right now you can just pick Jax and buy funblade and be scarier lategame
or Lee Sin and build atmogs and be scarier all game

It's actually quite hilarious. At 6 he becomes a support that doesn't need to spend his gold on Wards, and you can nullify most auto attack AD bots with enough time for you and your lane partner to escape. I think the guy that does it for us maxes R > Q > W > E since you don't really need to do damage and want that super blind, but I'm not really sure. It's rare, but when it goes, it's really funny.

Yes you should really imo focus on farming. Had 250 cs 35min in one game.Diving their squishies with ultimate and ghost is awesome.

i feel like support carry kinda gimped me. Blitz is far and away my best champ and i absolutely hate running him support so i basically never play him anymore since everyone wants to run cookie cutter. It's such a waste, blitz carries the hardest of any character out of a duo lane and instead you're playing him like a shitty alistar desperately milking hog for gold. Hate it hate it hate it. Ps: who builds avarice blade on support gp lol

All you can do is grab someone and knock someone up if they're in melee range, not very usefull and more often those idiot blitzes pull enemies to you when you are low(which would be funny if they did it as a joke but they're just genuinly stupid), this is assuming support blitz with ad carry.
Riot should fix the goddamned dc bug where people aren't connecting to a game, waste an hour on champ select for nothing.
