Janna playing Catch with all those dark bindings didn't help TTT much. No idea why he was hanging so front like all the time. If you need to quickly ult, that's why you pick Flash, there's no reason to save that for the "OMG RUNNNNNNNNNN phase" after things get fubared. Use it to prevent that situation. | ||

I can't speculate on how big of a success Dota 2 will prove to be but i can say fairly safe that it won't become big at the cost of LoL. For other genres, cannibalism is a big deal, and we worry about it every day in the industry. My deadlines at work are a direct consequence of the release dates of all the other games out there. However, lots of research has been done on MMOs and determined that cannibalism hasn't been a big deal until recently. Up until a few years ago, the MMO market kept generating new players. Right now there's a big problem with new & tiny MMO's cannibalizing entire subscription bases from each other. It's a brutal scene and I've had friends put out of work beacause of it. One month they've got 120,000 subscriptions in Asia. The next month some other random MMO launches and they go down to 20,000. MOBA's could be another anomaly like MMO's. All MOBAS could continue to expand for a while. Dota2, HoN, and LoL could actually be symbiotic with one another. I think there is a reason LoL is focusing more and more on Asia. It's a realm that Valve and S2 are not familiar with, and they stand to continue expanding their usership overseas even with the impending release of their supposed killer. I think Riot will be just fine, and will be an excellent investment. LoL will exist long after DOTA2- but it might not have as large of an American/European following. | ||
