Then again, like you said, it's much easier at 6 with the ult. Can't wait for work to be over to test :\

Edit: Targeted ones I mean. Volley and other such AoE ones obviously don't. I thought it was only spells that apply on-hit effects. But then that covers most of the physical non-AoE point-and-click nukes. Volley is different because it doesn't consider the slow as an on-hit effect I believe. It's considered as part of the spell. The same rule applies for any other dual-condition spell. The easiest way to check for this is to see if Red Buff or Phage applies to the spell. EDIT: Ninja'd!

But IIRC Volley applies Frost but doesn't trigger O_o; Le confuze. that's a special effect of Volley, not an application of an on-hit effect. if I have red buff and I hit a volley, it doesn't apply the red buff. in other words, it's coded to just check for frost shot, not for on-hit effects, whereas the other abilities I described all apply all on-hit effects.

Edit: Can't let this get off without a quip about Riot actually coding a skill to work uniquely and not have it break the game engine! Oh mah gahd!

Herro everynyan, how arrr you? Fine, sank you. So a question, TL. When do you want to pick Cait, Trist, Ashe, Vayne, etc. in solo queue? Is it based around who the other AD will be bot lane, or is is better to just go with what you're more comfortable with? Are they any particular traits that you should emphasise when choosing your AD Carry? Then again in retrospect I guess they can just code Volley to be a skillshot snare with hit collision, so I just looked at the skill the wrong way :< Edit: So a question, TL. Are they any particular traits that you should emphasise when choosing your AD Carry? I think Cait is the most pubstomp, and more newbie friendly, as she makes you look really pro. She's also very good at bot lane. Trist needs more coordination with teammate if you want to get anything done, although she can still play like Cait. Ashe is horrible bot lane so you rarely wanna pick her. Vayne is ok with good matchup but I still hate on her as a hero. MF and Corki are both heroes similar to Ashe in that I think they're simply better in a solo lane, even if no one wants to give them a solo lane anymore.

Parrley used to apply on hit effects but not it's passive, the other way around of what you said.

It just didn't occur to me until after the post that that's a complicated way to code what ends up just looking like a 8 (now 6) pronged hit-box spell that happens to have an ice effect, similar to Anivia FF, lol.

Working as intended, obviously. ...oh wait, this isn't Blizzard. It might get fixed in the next 3 months.
