One day you'll realize you can actually play games with friends (they aren't mutally exclusive) if someone can tell me how to find cool people that play LoL that can also be IRL friends with me that would be really fucking great, because this game is more fun to do with friends than any sport or movie. but (especially now that im living in germany) it seems like being a cool sociable person and being a guy who really likes playing video games are pretty much mutually exclusive. there are exceptions of course, my roommate from last year was awesome at both. but just look at how every pro gamer starts out so hopeful and friendly and slowly turns more pissed off at everything. Basically i wish i was born 20 years later so that i could have grown up with a generation comfortable with adults playing video games.

If you experienced them, you know that even after 5 years of playing people have absolutely no clue where to go to win a game the easy way. And thats with 15 people where 1 person being stupid isnt a big deal. The difference is, in MMOs people don't care about winning AT ALL they just want to battle and kill shit. At least in WoW thats how it was, maybe 5 of 30 people in the game cared about winning.
All that doesnt matter. In WoW we formed a team of 15 ppl to steamroll Arathi Basin because we cared about winning. In dominion its the same deal.
Oh and I dont even think your observation is correct. In fact 99% of the players in MMO's rather want to win than to lose, even if its just for grinding points. The thing is that not everyone things of the same solutions. When you think your solution is better than the others then form a team, be a captain and win some shit.

So how do you deal with people that suck and/or troll on your team? Apparently my two days of new ranked got me banned again (I'm not surprised) but do people actually just sit there and say "its okay you went 1-13 with mundo in RANKED on SR"
oh and for all inquiring minds, I don't think shurelia or randuin work for riotgames anymore

Do you mean "someone under xxx elo skill level" or "someone who got outplayed hence he had bad score in my game". Everyone sucks when matched vs opponents better than them, complaining about someone going 1-13 won't suddenly make him a better player, it will just please your own ego. It's not like he went 1-13 on purpose, nor does he enjoy going 1-13. I just don't comment when someone just plays bad, however i'd comment when i repeatedly ask someone to not chase/play safer and yet they die chasing enemies/diving tower 1v2 right after i told them not to - because they had the knowledge that it's bad decision though for some reason they still followedit. If i didn't say anything about diving/chasing being bad right before he decided to do it i won't comment though

It's not people that got outplayed, its people that make awful decisions and truly don't belong in the elo that they're currently at. People that make mistakes like chasing halfway accross the map or focusing the singed thats at 10% hp and chasing him until they die.
I guess ill just say nothing from now on and get reported for not communicating with the team

Belive me, they don't enjoy going 1-13, no matter how much you hate having such people on your team you can't blame them, because don't think that anyone who isn't trolling wants to play bad.
BTW making "awful decision" is making worse decision that enemy team so it kinda can be called being outplayed.
Just... when you want to say something, say something that's going to help your team, not something that's supposed to offend someone

Care to share what you actually DID say to get banned? =S
Because...

Seems to be totally true. I just played against a Caitlyn named "Hermann Goering" who kept making jew jokes the entire game. Not sure if she'll get banned. Trollol.

It's great here but seems like a totally different lifestyle. I'm used to America where everyone my age plays video games all the time, here people go to parks and art exhibitions and things like that. Maybe people will start to play video games in the winter. Do you have some advice?

I don't make racist remarks or call people names. The worst I say is probably "you fucking suck" but a lot of people like to think they're good and when I put them in their place with logic they just go apeshit and say they're going to report me. Also probably because I try to surrender when we're down like 20 kills and my team plays like theyve never played the game before but they still think they can win. I'm playing on my lvl 8 smurf and I'm playing people of the same caliber that I play in ranked.
That's another thing, why do people want to play a game where its been a huge snowball from 10 mins and nobody seems to want to get ahead with smart ganks or wards but they also won't surrender. I'm sick of seeing people make the same mistakes time after time

how does telling someone on you team "you fucking suck" improve your chances of winning?

Once you get behind in this game it's incredibly hard to come back. If you start your lane 0/3 because you got outplayed there's really nothing you can do besides continue dying to the enemy who's levels higher than you with more cs.

or 0-8, huehuehue :D
But yeah except for really high elo like, dreamhack level, there's always a big chance for the enemy team to do something dumb and completely screw themselves. I've seen it a hundred times already. Especially in solo q where everyone has the "i'm going to carry" mentality and half the time rambo once they get fed. But w/e I play the game to play it. So I really don't care if it's a hopeless loss.

Personally I just switch objectives when I see bad people on my team. That 3-8-10 with Galio which could have been one or two deaths less if I hadn't wanted to see how much damage my ult can do wasn't that bad, considering I knew the game was doomed from the start and it was one of the best scores of the team (barring afkfarm Malph).
I quite enjoyed it since I didn't try to win as much as not to die. Also laughing at Nasus arguing that his regular game is 400-500 cs and ~10-3 score at 40 minutes, thanks to farming all 3 lanes after awhile.
I find it more entertaining to lose this way than to have a huge advantage, and a team not knowing how to ride it then making atrocious mistakes and throwing it all away. That'd be much more frustrating and, more importantly (and especially late game where an ace can mean inhib and its tower down then one or two nexus towers), you don't have as much time to switch your mindset to chilling mode.
