THIS GAME CAN BE SO EASY AND RELAXING. :/
That Kassadin must've been pretty bad, he should've lane switched. IMO you probably could've won regardless of lane matchups though. also, probably wouldn't have raped at all if kass went like cloth 5 pots, but I guess people are too retarded to expect anything other than AD + support bot.
On another note, I'm pissed off because I was 5-0 when the season first started, then they added that +50 -50 ELO shit after the ranked shut down, and now being 7-4 i'm 100 elo below from where I started.... GG

Why do people get so worked up about what ELO they are? It's not like if you're 800 ELO you're forced to play like an 800 ELO player. Chances are you do of course, but if you're really good it doesn't matter what that number is. In fact, having a low ELO should be more fun because you should destroy the baddies you're playing. Who doesn't enjoy going 7/0/10 and getting penta kills?

Caitlyn utterly counters and rapes kassadin regardless of what you open.
|
Because Elo (it's not ELO BTW, it isn't a shortcut) for most people is the closest thing corresponding to skill and when they talk about "WTF what Elo are you" etc they usually mean "true Elo" since people wish that skill level could be described by a number

One day you'll realize you can actually play games with friends (they aren't mutally exclusive) if someone can tell me how to find cool people that play LoL that can also be IRL friends with me that would be really fucking great, because this game is more fun to do with friends than any sport or movie. but (especially now that im living in germany) it seems like being a cool sociable person and being a guy who really likes playing video games are pretty much mutually exclusive. there are exceptions of course, my roommate from last year was awesome at both. but just look at how every pro gamer starts out so hopeful and friendly and slowly turns more pissed off at everything. Basically i wish i was born 20 years later so that i could have grown up with a generation comfortable with adults playing video games. Where in Germany do you live? Berlin. It's great here but seems like a totally different lifestyle. I'm used to America where everyone my age plays video games all the time, here people go to parks and art exhibitions and things like that. Maybe people will start to play video games in the winter. Do you have some advice? I actually live in Berlin myself and have a couple of good friends who play LoL. I'm a very outgoing person, but I also regularly play video games. Then again, I'm just a student at a university, so this explains me having people around with common habbits concerning video games. But we regularly have a beer, and usually LoL is not much of a topic. There's evenings when we DO talk about it a bit, bit in general, we mainly talk about other stuff. So I guess it's not exactly mutually exclusive to play LoL on a regular basis and have healthy social relationships.
im from berlin aswell, germany #1

If you get a pentakill and then lose you should learn how to right click on the enemy Nexus.

Numbers inspired me to post at least one more time.
None of you really know me and I don't know most of you so imma keep it short as possible.
I'm wrestling with some kind of addiction, I'd assume you'd called it "video game addiction" even though I spend a lot more time thinking about games and reading forums than actually playing the dang things that call themselves games (probably I'm addicted to the games themselves to but they're harder). I probably shouldn't have been reading this forum in the first place, but unfortunately doing stuff other than posting and reading random crap on the internet when I'm bored is hard.
Going through college sucked in a lot of ways. I was fairly smart and social but my grades felt the pain of my procrastination. Now I'm out, unemployed, and more or less wasted a year playing this game and thinking about it, all the time knowing that I was wasting my time.
Recently I've been working through things with a therapist, he thinks I have ADD and it'll probably take months to figure out that crap. Things were looking up for awhile but now I'm in a slump again because nothing is as easy to do as posting and reading crap on the internet or spending an entire day putting builds into a Kog'Maw DPS spreadsheet that more or less confirmed what everyone knew already.
I have other interests but none of them are so consistently available, immediate, or so easy as reading what you guys post here while not playing a game I'm too afraid to play anymore, and though last week I had I brief window of a normal life now I'm cursing my inability to adjust, grow up, and be a man.
People tend to glamorize video games here, no surprise. Though I'm obviously biased against them I think it's for good reason, and I think numbers is wrong. Many people could give their 100% to SC2 and simply not make it. If the general LoL public could get their heads out of their arses it'd be the same there too. Athleticism in (e)sports is something that can only realistically be pursued professionally by the elite and if you're not the top 0.1 or 0.01% you'd be slightly more dignified as a starving artist (culturally anyways).
Everyone who plays LoL right now seems so young, all the best players are guys in college or younger who for whatever reason can play more than they study. I can't hide behind that anymore. After 18-plus years of gaming I probably have to kick the gaming bucket for good to move on. And that crap is hard.
Anyways, my main point in all this that it's easy to get caught up in never growing up and/or seek any kind of entertainment as a kind of escapist savior. Certainly easier than you'd think. Unfortunately gods made by human hands and minds don't have the power to ascend to the heavens and actually fix your problems.
Peace.

if you wanna quit lol then just ban its ip on your router also do this with TL and the stream sites

Can we just nip all this in the bud right now? There's a blog section specifically for this kind of post.

Yarp. If you dont want to play, dont come to a place dedicated to people who DO want to play and say that you dont want to play.

my KDR is like 15-4.......
It doesn't really make it enjoyable though when your lanes just all go 0-5 and you have to carry it completely.

Thread was doing so well ignoring the buzzkilling "reality" people like to spew on people who have fun. and then someone else decides to do it again. Save a thread, use a blog.
Playing this game in general you just gotta try and chill. I dunno, even I get worked up occasionally but I tend to just let it go when I solo que and have fun when things go wrong. I laugh about it and keep trying anyway. It's fun. At least for me it is.
Only time I get upset is when its people I know and they just go full on crazy and they make me wonder why I talk to them in the first place. Even then I get over it quickly.

Everything in moderation, riding a bike is fine but if that's all I do for 8 hours a day it's a problem. Same with League of Legends.

GG Even if he went cloth 5pot cait still would've won. Maybe she wouldn't have gotten 50 million kills, but she'd still win in CS. The biggest problem with Kass is that he can't farm unless he's completely dominating the lane, which he can't do all that well against ADs. The best he can hope for is to go even and not lose. If you're up against an AD not named Ashe, your best bet is to lane switch unless you just completely outclass the other guy.

On a sick loss streak. I am so pissed right now.
So riot fucks up Season 2 by not having an elo boost at the beginning. Then they take down servers and forget to give people an elo boost who had already played games. So my first day I play against jiji/ hotshot and lose games (ofc, 4 retards + me vs. 3 retards and hs/jiji). So my rating isn't that great. Then I never get an elo boost. Fuck riot for being incompetent. Now I have to wade through the masses of idiots and sloooowly make my way up the ladder because I didn't get a fucking elo boost.
