It doesn't. But it makes me feel a whole lot better than talking to a wall.

Well on average, there will be 2 players worse than you and 2 players better than you on your team. However, a whopping 1/5 games (this is a lot considering how much most of us play), all four players on your team are going to be worse than you. Barring edge cases, this is a fact, only avoidable by playing premades instead of solo queue I guess.

That question should answer itself pretty quickly. Look at the problems in riot's coding, our r1ch would never let that happen.
Note: Not saying riot's programming team is bad, I just think they're understaffed and if R1CH joined them they could probably fix a lot of problems.

If you rage you reduce your chances of winning. It's as simple as that. If you're really playing to win then you shouldn't do it, otherwise you plainly deserve to be losing elo.
At least that's how I see it.

Always like overly praise your teammates when they do something good. Keeping the team from devolving into a shouting fest, (which leads to intentional feeding) is like half the battle in elo hell.

ok so basically I say nothing.

/mute ally is the best function in the game.

What do when the shouting fest starts from champion select cause I didn't ban Rammus or some shit? Or because last picks like to call out what they're going to play and go batshit crazy when I fill in their spot when I'm first pick? Usually they blurt out the champion they want the instant champ select pops up and then accuse me of refusing to communicate in game so their report could look pretty -.-;;
I have literally zero respect for the people I get grouped in solo queue, and that is pretty much their own gosh darned fault. Too bad that there are reports and leaver buster so I have to be stuck with some person with special needs for 25 additional minutes to lose, because the aforementioned person decided to face check a brush alone while the other team had baron and they pushed us down 4v5 afterwards.

I have a lot of fun in solo queue. I just abide by my team's requests, even if they're quite unreasonable. If I'm captain, I'll ask what they want banned, if they say nothing they usually won't complain later. If someone says "Nasus, solo top" then I try to build around it.
When people do really dumb stuff in-game, I just point it out without tacking on an insult and carry on. Sure a lot of games will be lost because of others being bad, but blaming others and getting frustrated literally does nothing to make you feel or play better.

Some people are really dumb tho. Enemy team firstpicks Kassadin.
me: "IM CAIT IM MID VS KASSA" "k, cool" "IM SAYING IT AGAIN IM MID I WONT LANE BOT" "lol, we heard it dude" "JUST SAYING IT 20 TIMES TO MAKE SURE GET SOME AP THAT CAN LANE BOT"
2nd to last dude picks sion, says "me ap"
Game starts, Sion runs mid.
"Erh, dude, I'm mid."
"ROFL YOU'RE AD YOU'RE BOT"
However, everyone told him to be a nice botlaner and we all were a happy family. Especially the 0-6 Kassadin.
Huehue.
tl;dr: I think it's fucking sad that the hardest part of such a counter is convincing your team to not go apeshit insane.
Bonus edit for Southlight: You're right, Cait vs Kassadin is the saddest matchup possible for Kassa. He could have said "me afk" and it wouldn't have changed anything. :X

Oh yeah people who REFUSE you do something that isn't 100% by the "metagame" just piss me off.
It's time people realize that AD carries are pretty damn good solos in certain matchups.

I'd like to add, our botlane bitched the first 10 minutes that they can't farm (was Sion Soraka vs Urgot Sona).
At this point... ...top was 3-1 ...mid had 90 cs vs 21 on Kassadin and was 4-0 ...jungle fiddle was like 2-1-2 ...and our botlane Sion had 25 CS vs Urgots 55, lane was 1-1.
It was literally 10 minutes of Sion being constantly pissed that he "had to lane bot" and that "fucking newb cait mid is ruining his game"
Fiddle: "Okay dude, you piss me off. Ima cheer you up now." Sion: "LOL THIS TEAM PISSES ME OFF I CANT FARM FFS." Fiddle: "Do me the favor.. press tab. Now turn on your brain. Then shutup and enjoy being carried." Sion: "Oh. lol. wtf. how. lol. cool."
(later) Sion: "Sorry for raging earlier, didn't expect you guys to have a brain, lol."
THIS GAME CAN BE SO EASY AND RELAXING. :/

shikyo thread this way ffs

How is that a shikyo thread topic?
We won that game easily. Current topic is: Newbs, their metagames and failure to adjust in solo q.
|
that's the 'bitching about your teammates' thread. Even if you weren't off topic that would just mean the topic sucks and can we please talk about something else? It would be really easy to fill a hundred pages of GD with teammate QQ

Let me paraphrase my post:
League of Legends players are stupid and I don't respect them.
Does that sound less QQish?

Yeah, this is why I started doing shit like afk randoming and smite Veigar. Busting my chops for little to no results is nowhere near as fun as randoming tbh, and Veigar... well, two-shotting their carry is always hilarious. After a while, it grows old quickly tho, screw getting Eve 5 times in a row... fuck it, I don't even know why I'm playing any more, not that I've played a lot recently...

One day you'll realize you can actually play games with friends (they aren't mutally exclusive) if someone can tell me how to find cool people that play LoL that can also be IRL friends with me that would be really fucking great, because this game is more fun to do with friends than any sport or movie. but (especially now that im living in germany) it seems like being a cool sociable person and being a guy who really likes playing video games are pretty much mutually exclusive. there are exceptions of course, my roommate from last year was awesome at both. but just look at how every pro gamer starts out so hopeful and friendly and slowly turns more pissed off at everything. Basically i wish i was born 20 years later so that i could have grown up with a generation comfortable with adults playing video games. Where in Germany do you live? Berlin. It's great here but seems like a totally different lifestyle. I'm used to America where everyone my age plays video games all the time, here people go to parks and art exhibitions and things like that. Maybe people will start to play video games in the winter. Do you have some advice? I actually live in Berlin myself and have a couple of good friends who play LoL. I'm a very outgoing person, but I also regularly play video games. Then again, I'm just a student at a university, so this explains me having people around with common habbits concerning video games. But we regularly have a beer, and usually LoL is not much of a topic. There's evenings when we DO talk about it a bit, bit in general, we mainly talk about other stuff. So I guess it's not exactly mutually exclusive to play LoL on a regular basis and have healthy social relationships.
