Thanks in advance You don't want to engage Irelia because then she'll just stun you with her E (some magic damage, slows you, or stuns you if your HP % is higher than her) and flee or hit you. Edit: I meant that you don't want to be the one to attack first since you'll probably be at a higher % then. But once it's on cd you've got 7-8 seconds to burst the shit out of her. Also, her W passive gives her flat healing for each hit, so she has to not be last hitting to actually sustain herself if she gets harassed. The active component makes every one of her hits deal bonus true damage, but since she doesn't have that much mana early game she probably won't use it except if she's sure to hit you a lot (gank, or E leveled enough, exhaust, or just wanting to go in for a kill). Her Q has a really long cooldown at low levels (12s at level 1), but it's resetted and she gets a flat mana refund if she kills something with it. So if you see her use it and not kill a minion, you can abuse that fact when you play a ranged hero to harass the shit out of her. Don't feel too comfortable if you're near an almost dead minion tho, she can charge it to get to you and still have her Q up to reach you if you flee with low HP, or just rush one of your minions if she's endangered herself and need to turn back. Her R should do enough damage by level 2 to one shot waves (except siege minions) or almost kill mage minions from level 1 onward, and its cd is low (40s) so if you can't push fast she'll just give you a hard time post-6. Great farming tool too if you make her back, push tower, she presses R 5 times and your whole wave just turned into gold in her pockets. I still think she's somewhat weak w/o items, just annoying to kill 1v1 because of E so good so get hit-stun-run under tower. With Sheen and Brutalizer she starts dishing out quite some pain tho. Also, laugh at her if she builds warmog. Irelia's sustain is made of small amounts, so you want to receive little damage, not have a truckload of HP. | ||
