Can't see Taric/Cait combo staying as it is. The caitl Q shot is clearly the problem, dealing an obscene ammount of damage. So much so that to catch a single unmitigated shot means death the 2nd time.

Cait is allready unkillable on lane, not exactly sure why she should always have the highest damage + longest range skill in the game to 1-shot other players. The little aim time it gives you to dodge is a broken concept when Taric removes that possibility to dodge.

If you die to 2 single cait Q's you are doing something terribly terribly wrong. Cait Taric is not about getting a free Q off because of taric stun, it's getting a butload of dps off because of taric stun and free cait trap.

Yeah it's a skillshot so it get's massive buffs on top of it. It can be dodged so it gets even more massive buffs to compensate. All skillshots are made more powerfull to balance the fact that they can miss, wether it be range, damage, cost or CD. If a skill can be dodged it's made even more powerfull like the veigar meteor.


But when mixed with a champion that removes the chance to miss or be dodged, you just end up with a massively powerfull skill.

Honestly if caitlyns drop worked like every other drop like teemos and shacos (eg. Melee range) the lane wouldnt even be a problem.

How the hell do you physically set up a trap halfway across a lane anyways

Yeah and do you throw fireballs from your hands? Realism isn't a good argument in a game like this :D

On a serious note though, balance should be the first and only thing to consider, in which case something like melee range traps (or atleast considerably shorter range) would be a good nerf to taric/cait.

edit: and regarding the whole taric/cait stuff, imo it comes down to caits range+passive and taric being able to provide a reliable single-target stun at pretty damn decent range.

Because if you stand in between creeps Ezreal can only hit his W and R, even if you get stunned by Taric. And when Ezreal goes in to make use of a stun he puts his frail body to close when he needs to go around creeps and gets himself killed.

So Morde.... I don't think his shield does reduced shield gen from jungle creeps. And now that is is 30% at all levels... and Jungle Morde didn't get E before, is this a buff for jungle morde?
