I'm simply regurgitating info here and all it takes is a little effort on your part to find them. If you have a more specific question, that'd make more sense. | ||

anyways here's what i would tell myself i could go back in time when i first started 1.save ip till 30 2.play free champs 3.dont buy trist,get her from fb u dummy 4.dont play with the koreans they'll screw u over 5.kick chaox from tsm so saint doesnt leave 6.dont talk to kiruur she's a bitch 7.ALWAYS CHECK IF UR STREAMING before u do anything "personal" 8.dont just play trist,it'll make u a one trick pony 9.dont post on tl is a waste of time 10.streaming will make u more cash than playing in tourney games or ur shitty barista job 11.youri is gonna dump u when she finds out u been ditching her to meet "online" friends 12.u can be the best ad in game only if u dont let school get in the way and constantly tryhard 13.add oddone,tell him u think his annie is pro(his insecure and we'll eat up any compliments 14. add saint,ask him if he wants to play with girls(he likes hitting on girls online) 15. add regi,challenge him to a 1 v 1 and crush him(his ego wont let it go) 16. add pgb,tell him ur from the future(he'll believe u cuz his dumb like that) 17. make a team with the above 4 and conquer the world!!!!!!!!!!!!! 18. also nika is a whore and she's gonna start being a bitch and stop buying u cigarettes, hold onto her until u meet youri and enjoy the bjs~(ps she wont give u back the avril lavinge cd's after u break up,so either dont lend it to her or get them back before u dump her) 19. eve is seceretly op,abuse her before riot remakes 20. in any case, i'm relatively new as well. the best thing to do is learn a few champs and stick with them (make sure they don't suck). Learn the types of champs and make a selection to fill in a match. In lv. 1-30 games everybody picks bruisers or ranged AD carrys. I usually play tanks, even though I prefer to play ranged AD. By late game, a tanky character makes the biggest difference to head into team fights. | ||

I never played games like this before (well actually i once played an early dota version on a lan without knowing that it was dota and even when everyone talked about dota a year later i didnt realize that it was "that custom map on that lan i played once that was really cool" until 2 years ago) and i got constantly surprised by what all the champs did to me :D. Your really dont have anything to loose and at the beginning you learn the most by just playing. at 30 you might want to try and stick with one ore two champs and get your skillevel up that way faster. because by then you know what to do in general but you need to make the right overall strategy decisions and you need to know how to lane vs a certain champ. And there are no guides for that. | ||

If you can't wait for the champion to get free, ask a friend who has him if you can get on his account. + Show Spoiler [More on runes] + IMO the best runes to begin with that works the best on the most AP characters are Magic Penetration marks, Mana regen per level seals(Don't use these on characters where you won't have mana problems or dont use mana at all, use armor seals instead then), ability power per level or magic resist per level glyphs (i use magic resist on 99% of the characters i play, really useful) and either magic penetration or flat ability power quints. For AD you should go with Armor Penetration marks, Mana Regen per level, Attack Speed or Armor seals (depends on what character(s) you'll be playing), Magic Resist per level or Attack speed glyphs and Armor Penetration quints. Don't spend your IP on champions unless you are 100% sure you want the champion and will enjoy it. LoL is a pretty fun game so as long as you keep playing it you are bound to learn things along the way. Check for featured/pro builds on www.solomid.net if you aren't sure how to play a certain champion, but don't follow all guides 100% as they aren't all completely correct at all times. The really necessary things to learn is to last hit minions (never just right click a full health minion and hope to get the gold for it) and all the game mechanics like how Armor and Magic resist affects different types of damage etc  EDIT: Also, if you have questions about any game mechanic go to www.leagueoflegends.wikia.com | ||

5 Runes needed to upgrade to next Level Total Cost of Tier 1 -> 3 Conversion: 15 IP * 5 * 5 = 375 IP or 25 Tier 1 Runes Tier 3 Rune Prices Quint - 515, 1025, or 2050 each Rune - 205, 410, or 820 each Disclaimer: Not all T3 Runes are useful and by combining there is a possibility of "losing IP" because if you get a 205 IP T3 Rune it cost you 375 IP. Ideally you are pro and gamble 3x T3 HP Quints or something like that. Conclusion: Fill your rune pages with T1 wait for 20 and get T3. When you get to 20 don't autopilot and buy runes think about it because some runes like Crit% are really champion specific. | ||

HOWEVER when you do get to level 20 you might as well buy 5 more 15 IP runes and gamble your 25 runes for a T3 because you might end up with a useful Quint or Rune. (I had 4 T3 HP Quints because of this :[ ) | ||

HP Quints OP? Back on topic though: I don't think watching streams right away is necessarily a good way to learn the game :S I only say this because most people take away 2 things: 1) XYZ Champion is OP 2) XYZ Streamer is Cool/Bad/Douche/Chill/etc etc | ||
