His ulti is great and he has really easy time farming early game, but thats about it. His ulti is like WW ulti without the risk. But combined with null zone silence and malefic visions it's ridiculous guaranteed kill on anyone not a tank. He's a better ganker than WW (although can't do it from a jungle w/e) and has very solid dps and a silence as well. WW: 1.7 s, 5 hits for 33% of his attack damage. Malz: Ranged, 2.5 s, 250/400/500 +1.5 AP

Malzahar excels in 1v1 situations so he is very popular there (just like TF, shen, etc because of their mobility). US tends to favor large team fights so tankier or aoe dps is better

I was up against Xin, Ashe, Kassadin, Twisted and Mundo. I was playing Lux should I choose another hero that is better for carrying everyone on their shoulder? At the 7 minute mark I was at 4-0-1 crushing Xin and Kassa together with Malph. At this point we were 5-7. Should I have left earlier? after this you could probably just queue up the Benny Hill music as I ran around the lanes trying to salvage the others mess. At the 12 minute mark I was 6-0-6 and our team had 12 kills versus the other teams 16. at this point their mundo was just hoarding mres like crazy and since my entire team was from eastern europe not speaking a word of English trying to convey that they can't just solo the entire game (Nobody left their lane apart from me untill they got to our inhibs) So I focus on taking down Ashe, Twisted and Xin (He was building pure AD) at the 15 minute mark I had 10 - 0 - 6 and having pushed 3 towers, sadly this means that my CS is attrocious at roughly 70 after running around so much. Should I stay longer in each lane to get the CS up? Mundo was quickly becoming an issue since he had farmed pretty easily on the rest of my team. In the end I get 17 - 1 - 12 being present on 90% of my teams kills. Now obviously each game is diffrent but is there a handbook for how to carry when you know your team simply doesn't function? In this case I was facing pretty bad opposition and they only had one decent player so it shouldn't be impossible. And ofcourse do you simply need to dominate harder than I did to pull it off?

Lux cannot carry. I consider myself a pretty good Lux, and my solo queue win percentage with her is 38%. Which is unfortunate because I like playing her =(.

You get an ulti that disables whichever non idiot match making gave the other team, and jungling is a good way to make sure that your team wins the laning phase. See someone getting crushed? Gank and give them time to catch up. Loci ryze on jiji's stream NAO
