Yeah by no means do I think carrying is all about stacking up kills. I've seen plenty of people doing this but as a result they're not helping the team and it causes a loss.
The game I mentioned actually we had it especially hard because not only were we going 4v5, but they had a Yi backdooring. Even more effective because it means if they teamfight it's 4v4 with Yi not there and 4v3 if someone is defending against the backdooring. I decided to defend against the backdooring and because the other team wasnt very good and my team could win fights without me; we actually started gaining ground despite our disadvantage because they stopped taking towers. However, when I was doing this I got accused of being useless and doing nothing. It's hard to direct a team what to do when they have no idea how the game should be played and have no respect for you from the beginning.
Thats why it was the most frustrating game I ever played. 4v5, I played extremely well, and the teammates think the opposite and won't listen to me. That and the fact that it was a long game that we came close to winning but didnt.

How about Yi? Is he viable as a jungler compared to the top tier ones? At least he is pretty fast and offers a solid gank with his Q + red buff.

Yi is one of the top solo queue junglers, mainly because he's fast and if you rely on your team being retarded you have BDing to fall back on.

I like to get better with characters by queuing with TLers, provided they don't mind. Either we're all trolling and no one cares, or everyone else is carrying me which works out pretty well. It's definitely better to learn supports by playing with people you know are better than you (spud #1 jungle trynd)

How are you playing her?
I find she doesn't have enough utility to be played as a babysitter, and doesn't do enough damage for an AP caster.
Just seems to get overshadowed by, say, Zilean or Morgana, who can do both well.

I never played karma, but I would imagine just taking clarity and shield and heal spam a carry in lane? Numba 1 babysitter?

I've tried AP and tanky so far. Liked tanky the best. She seems to do really well when you build her into a tanky AP hybrid from games I've seen of her, but granted, I'm a scrub. :D

I really just wanna duo troll with inept, I dunno much about playing Karma, lol.
but I once got worked in a solo lane as Panth vs. Karma because that passive makes finishing her through that damn shield really annoying.
She's along the lines of Zil (more nukey, less supporty) in that she needs to be assisting tanky DPS (Olaf, Garen, Xin, etc) to be maximum utility.

Ok, so what happens when you get to teamfights, where you have a weak shield, weak heal, and weak slow?
I dislike how much of her is pure damage and zero utility (unmantra-ed Q, E's mantra effect). If you're going to put a pure damage skill on a support, it better be one of the best damn damage skills in the game (e.g. Zilean bombs), because a babysitter isn't going to collect enough gold to give it good AP scaling, so it has to make up for the fact that it will do absolutely nothing late-game.

the thing that annoyed me more actually is that zilean can just QWQ entire creep waves, while karma has absolutely jack shit for farming. i was having serious trouble getting any sort of cs with her so id imagine you need early HoG/philo stone and give your partner all cs. then get randuin/revelrie later or w/e

The one time I played her, clearing creep waves was not a problem. Once you get a few levels, you just run into the middle of one and REQ. Then again, I played her in a solo, so I had some AP to work with midgame.
The real problem for laning IMO is that none of her spells have good range, so except against melee laners, there's very little you can do to stop the other team from farming.

I think she's a greater caster.

i just don't like karma right now because her scaling is terribad because they make her have to get 6 levels in abilities to get the same effect that most casters get at 5 or even 4 levels.
