Quintessences work out the same way as Marks relative to their Tier 3 counterparts but are more expensive for the same amount of stats at the equivalent Tier. The other slots probably don't make enough of a difference to matter, especially since flat Armor yellows are good for jungling anyway.

If there's a follow up convo with that vlad, you'd better post it here. Was hilarious.

Like, a lot of high ELO players actually impressed me, but westrice and grackis are 2 people that never did. Although I must say, Westrice is a LOT better than grackis, and they're only a couple hundred points away.

Sometimes, when you look at the League of Legends champion lineup, it’s easy to feel like you’ve seen it all. You’ve seen light mages, thorn mages, mad scientists, illusionists, ninjas, and warriors with gigantic swords. But there’s something that this next champion has that none of them do: roots. That’s right, while you may have been engaged in epic, pitched battles with trolls, gargoyles, ogres, scarecrows, minotaurs, mummies, and mutant armadillos, I bet you’ve never had to fight a tree before! Introducing Maokai, the Twisted Treant; a groundbreaking new champion in the League of Legends whose bark may or may not be worse than his bite. You decide. http://eu.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=114402
