No one plays ranked 5's so when you 5man unranked you'll run into clg or Koreans 90% of the time. Normal queue so much harder than ranked it's sad. you gotta troll dat normal elo down so that you can just stomp baddies.

fuuuu /rant No joke. I've started to over-compliment my teammates in solo Q, simply to keep everyone going. Otherwise the following tends to happen...
*ally gets first-blooded top lane* other ally: "OMG NOOB SHOULD HAVE LET ME SOLO TOP" dead ally: "STFU OR I AFK" (they continue arguing for a minute, then one starts intentionally feeding, the other goes afk, and we all just silently rage)
etc etc

I always apologize when I know I did something wrong. This USUALLY gets people off your case quicker and while they might still pin the loss entirely on you at the end screen, they're less likely to get in an e-peen contest mid game (which is probably the least productive thing you can do).

I love the way most ppl consider 0/1/0 as feeding.

I feel the tried and tested method of making everyone hate you is the best way to go. Whenever I see a team falling a part I just start making off-hand comments to all of them creating a much better teamspirit amongst the other 4 in my team than any compliment could ever do.

I really dont care what happens in lane up until the first dragon fight. Of course there are exceptions, but generally I find that first dragon fight to be a good indicator of how the team has played up till that point. Ive been in games down 6 early kills and still won, and the opposite and still lost.

I always compliment good play by teammates, even if they are total assholes (and I generally don't say anything about bad play). Negative reinforcement, doesn't really work in video games since players are anonymous and don't have anything to lose.
Positive reinforcement on the other hand always has an effect, even if people are consciously aware that you are trying to do it. While that effect might not necessarily improve their play, it'll at least keep people from ragequitting when the team doesn't live up to their l33t skillz.

Is there a way to spoof summoner names in LoL? I played a couple games in unranked last night against "Westrice". The name seemed exact, but I highly doubt I'm skilled enough to go 2-0 top solo as Caitlyn against the real Westrice's Akali. Mousing over his name in the post-game stats revealed only 350ish unranked wins and no ranked rating.

I had Westrice's stream on last night, if your LOL name is something like Montgomery that was the actual Westrice on Akali.

How to lane with Kat: Q until your hp > theirs, then EQ until low enough that ERQ kills them.
Basically build kat tanky so she can trade blows and/or not die while ulting. I find going ap the easiest now although you can go hybrid, getting rylais makes proper ulting a joke.
Also if you throw a Q you can press W while it is in the air if the enemy gets too close to creeps to do additional damage

I honestly think revolver is good on Kat despite how little I think of that item, mostly because of her attrition playstyle and being nonmana.
