How does it not make sense? Most melee champs have some sort of survivability increasing passive or ability. Poppy just ends up taking 50% reduced damage once she falls below something like half HP. Can't tell if it works as it should, I would have to run specific tests for that...

I would much rather have Banshee's Veil removed from the game. That thing messes with Poppy so hard... Sometimes I wish I had a TF on my team just to pop all Veils with a single press of R.

spoiler alert, if you test it, it won't work how you expect it to.

here's a test for you, take Poppy with 21 defensive masteries, HP quints, armor yellows, and go sit there and let your friend's pantheon who's not rocking any armor pen wail on you (setup is designed to live for a bunch of Panth auto-crits). As he starts auto-critting you, you'll notice that he does less and less damage with each successive crit, which makes literally ZERO sense with how it's worded:

Valiant Fighter - Any damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%. This does not reduce damage from structures.

It's a flat 50%... why in fucks name does the reduction vary for any reason whatsoever? It doesn't make sense and it's stupid and I still have no idea when she's actually going to die after all these fucking games because it's inconsistent.

Could it be something ridiculously obscure but grammatically accurate whereby it's only the damage that exceeds the 10% of health which is reduced? That is, if you do 1000 damage and 10% of Poppy's health is 900 then the damage is reduced by 50% of the difference or 50, but if 10% of Poppy's health is 500 then it's reduced by 250?

Seeking advice on a new jungle champ:
Champs that I have:

Xin: Should be ok, but I've never jungled with him and I don't what to do.

Champs that I don't have:

Trundle: Seems like a very good choice, but don't know what do to with him either.
Warwick: It doesn't seem like patch hit him significantly as others, namely Amumu.

Going to stick to one of those, what do you guys recommend?

i WRECK with trundle... just go Blue - wolves - wraiths - small golems - b and buy ward boots and pots, red - gank anywhere you can at all times...

QWQE, with W, ghost, and boots you most at 575 movement speed, plus you have a slowing pillar, and your Q lunges you forward a bit... soooo easy to catch anyway that pushes you can just get farmed or atleast make them permanently scared to leave... he's such a good jungler dont know why i dont see him often

ww is fine, blue takes a bit longer now s'all. Ive also played a game with shaco. Reginalds route still works, but blue is hella slow now.

Anyone know what the ninja patch was btw?

My new strat on my smurf.
Solomid WW and jungle when you push lane. My jungler let me our blue so I left lane, took it, and then ultied their vlad every 50 seconds.

Is Kennen's W and R supposed to be cancellable? Kass blinks away as I W, he takes no damage and W is set on cooldown. Kass silences me as I ult, ult never goes off and it's set on cooldown.

Yep, always has been. There's a cast time between when you hit 'w' and when the lightning actually goes off-- you can only cast the spell if there are targets in range, but it only acquires those targets as the lightning actually goes off, so it's totally possible to cast the spell and have nothing happen.

Losing streak brought me down 1100s. Not that i was even ever over 1250 but hanging around 1200 mark was still better than these games. Blitz, Nunu and WW spent the whole game whining at me telling me i suck, y u kno heal me, nidalee y u not in teamfight (that they started without me) etc..

I had a feeling we would lose when ww didnt take smite, then that feeling got stronger when he started with dblade+pot and proceeded to stackl dblades into BR.
I was in a 1v2 top so couldnt go help people either.

yes this is correct.


All damage over 10% of poppy's current health is reduced in half. Every attack will do a minimum of 10% of her current hp.
