Janna can release tornado fast by pressing q twice. One second of silence really helps with the taunt. Prevents lux and garen from casting spells. I have to get into lux root range which is pretty long to try and w or q. If I use tornado at a long range, neither you or I can catch up to effectively make use of knockup.

We go to lanes, I clair above bot brush, and see eve walking by. That signals either just a walk towards golems or gank. Either way, I'm playing defensive because eve is so close by. I'm not going to play aggressive due to the chance of a gank.
Around lvl 2 or 3, you tell me I'm doing nothing. You were near solo cs at the time. This means I was letting you cs and not taking any myself. At that time, I was also eating, so I just told you I was eating. Then I get to hear from you that I am doing "nothing". I like to let my lane partner farm up a lot. I guess this is interpreted as doing nothing. A little while later, garen and lux push up close to our tower. Lux hits you with a binding from our brush. I missed my shield to tank the binding dmg, but I get you a shield as garen walks out of the brush and e's you. Then I get the comment "you miss all your shields".They only harassed you once. I missed the tanking dmg on lux binding, so I proceed to tell you that I missed my shield which is true. I even give you shields to cs after this, because you tell me I'm doing nothing. After this wave pushes back, they maintain a position around bot brush closes to our tower. You go up to last hit, but you're last hitting in the sense that you are vulnerable to a lux binding. You weren't last hitting and backing up, you were maintaining a position near melee creeps. Lux hits you with a binding, and garen comes up to attack you. I throw my tornado and shield. Then eve comes in stealth, stuns, and you die. Then I get the you should have waited to tornado for eve. I was just throwing tornado early so that garen wouldn't be able to silence and e you, allowing you to take more dmg.
Second part of this. It's around lvl 5, Eve is near top. Both lux and garen turn 6. You proceed to not taunt out of garen who runs up to you but instead, fight them, and take garen silence and lux bind. They got to lvl 6 before us because of the death. I do not do the impossible. I can't save you from lux ult and garen ult. Sorry. That's not janna or any champion in the game.
Third part of this arguement. Shen asks me to q and w so that he can land a taunt. I already explained this. If you taunt lux, we can get off a ki strike, your passive, a slow, and tornado coupled with a silence so she takes more dmg before the bind. All that damage, don't think they're going to turn around and fight that. They can't fight because they also have to fight through an ignite, and janna shield.

I believe taunting a lux that has lower hp leads to better results than taunting the garen.

Doesn't slow you down but doesn't speed you up by much either. Mana itself is not a limiting factor to fast jungling.
@Ez: just chill. Bad game with numbers, ok. No need to call him out here and drag it out further. Doesn't seem like he has anything more to say about it either. You guys can try playing together in a few weeks.

Blafargh, I'm so damn close to just throw this stupid game away and never look back. Why are you always on the side of the drooling morons that can't even spell their own names right. Solo mid Karthus going 0-6 in less than 5 minutes spending most of his time either dying to creeps in the jungle or running straight into towers. At least in DotA i knew what channels would bring a decent player. I don't even mind bad players, but I have hard time believing these guys actually manage to put on their pants in the morning.

This is why you play teleport revive TF and just BD all day.

Udyr is still good in jungle, i don't think he's a bad pick and that choosing him will instantly lose you the game, it all depends on player. Just nowadays you see jungle given to more aggressive junglers, like shaco and eve. This is also one of the reasons why i think Shen became so loved, he's great duo laning tank so you don't have to get jungling tank.
i couldn't find a udyr thread =/
thanks for the response though, I messed around with udyr in practice games last night, and I couldn't jungle very well at all using my old build with cloth armor + pheonix, idk. i think my runes might be way off, but I always liked using my move speed quints, it made ganks etc very easy. I think I might just need to stay away from Udyr for now.
