Cho's Scream is listed as 300 range in all the sources I have, but apparently it's at least as long as Teemo's autoattack range (500). Soraka's Starcall is listed as 630 range, but I also never was able to cast it without eating a Scream. Ashe vs Annie, 1 of them stands still the other tries to get a hit off without getting hit. Annie almost never got off a free hit despite having 25 more range. The few times it worked, some line of sight stuff was most likely the cause. Weird stuff happened like Annie's attack animation started, canceled before she actually launched the projectile, and started again, this time properly. That was with Annie standing still. I had several cases in real games that just left me confused. Like Ashe getting an attack off on Kassadin before I was able to Q her. Or a snared Lux being able to attack me as Malphite when I am putting a Q on her (supposedly 625 range or so, the patch notes definitely said something that was in the 600s, while Lux is supposed to have 550 range. Ashe's Volley seems to have around 900 range. That's less than the spell animation but more than the spell cast cone thingy shows. If anyone can teach me the secrets behind these game mechanics, PLEASE DO. I have to play so carefully because things never seem to work out the way they are supposed to.

![]() The game was kind of retarded, i went nasus after not having played him a while, and got grouped up with a 4 man premade. Our lineup was: Caitlin, eve, xin, udyr and me (nasus). In que, i realise they are a premade (chat in some strange language), and ask udyr if he's going to jungle. He replied that he was going to go tank (what?). In game, i wait for the others to get in a lane, and i see caitlin going bot. When i ask het why she's not going mid, she says: "karthus mid", "nasus go mid". Reasoning with her wasn't working, so i went mid. Their team was: karth, amumu, morgana, jax and zilean. even the jax went hybrid, so i just started lolstacking mres. Fast forward to me dominating my lane and having pushed the first 2 towers mid, one bottom and having killed one dragon (was at 1-3-1 though, messed up while pushing a tower and had some bad teamfights). Meanwhile; my team, as most premades will, were focussing on ganks, and were at about 60-100 cs. To the actual me killing 5 people: We just got done doing dragon, went to mid, i saw amumu and started chasing him, while the rest of my team went through the jungle and met their team at wraithcamp. I turned around and ran into them, hitting >800damage q+triforce procs like the 240 cs egyptian god that i was. I pressed R and stole the karthus kill, slowed jax trying to jump on our caitlin, and threw down my spirit fire to continue to steal the morgana and jax kills while chasing zilean and amumu, 2hitting them ezpz. Just afterwards we killed their inhib and i had to leave for dinner. We lost. /meaningless brag

I think that there has been a lot of reworks of this system to try to fix issues with singed and large chogath's spells (fling and feast). I believe currently that everything starts counting from the most outward point on the model (mroe or less) and some spells were tweaked with reguards to their range to suit this. I do not believe most of the spells listed on wiki's have correct ranges. They get changed often and dont show exact ranges so its difficult to guage how close/far it actually shoots. As for auto attacks; i think the annie/ashe thing is because the auto-acquire target range is less than her actual attack range causing her to not attack often. OR ashe's animation is so fast that you moved in and out of the targeting range before you could be picked as a target and the animation for annie's very slow attack to start

Because of the delay on the spell cast. I've found that Caitlyn's superior auto attack (of 650) sometimes allows me to get hit by vladimir's transfusion and/or auto attack (range 450) before i have time to back away to not take damage. Most cones do, but I am pretty sure that because of the camera positioning being too close to the ground things look in different spots than they actually are. For a while I had the paranoid feeling that cone spells targeting taller champs would just need to hit their head and not their feet for the damage to go through. But then I stopped playing skillshot champions because they were boring.

In response to: Hey shen why don't you use your only escape ability to harass when eve is top why dont you harass them if you knew eve was top? Because you're doing nothing , and eating. And also because garen was always in my face so i had to Q+ ki strike him.... why taunt someone who is already in front of you Hey shen YOU should taunt first, THEN i tornado. It's not like my taunt only lasts for a second, and u cant tornado right away. YOU tornado, then i taunt. IF i taunt, they will just walk away/dodge by the time your tornado casts and u can release it. It's just common sense. The backstory: in most recent news i tell 0123456789 "this janna is doing nothing" note his response is "im eating" after the game he decides to shit talk me saying "janna is supposed to do nothing " also note that he says it isn't talking shit, he was only "minorly cares" about it then i say" why bother with it at all" his response" becuase i wanna call you out on it" hmm c= tune in next time for answers from numbers.

I could even see going totally trashy and giving it to an ez or trist and have them go bot paired with a Janna. Can Shaco still jungle if he drops boxes then backs to regen mana like 15s before minions spawn? Not specifically with Shaco boxes, but giving level 1 Lizard to a ranged DPS in mid or bot has been a strategy since beta. It leads to heavy early lane dominance and zoning. But that's to be expected, no? I used to do that (drop 3 boxes, pill to come back with full mana) but it really doesn't make much of a difference, especially if you do end up starting at golem first. Shaco's jungling speed is limited more by the number of camps available or sometimes by JitB CD if you're waiting to do buffs without losing too much health.

They dove, I popped Ghost/Flash but half way between the two turrets, I just stopped moving. I thought I misclicked on the user interface and it made me stop or something. Q_Q
