Yesterday after dumb ETC games with people not wanting to listen, and when I ask them, not willing to call the shots either, I 1st picked Nova on temples, we crushed them and I didn't die once. They tried to counter (Tassadar and 2 warriors) which in the end benefited the rest of my team. Morfildur has an Abathur only account, starting now it's Nova only as long as we have 1 warrior 1 healer. Dick mode on. : | ||

So 1st game today, Sonya 1st pick. He doesn't ask for another warrior in the team and we have Rehgar, it's Dragon Shire so I prepick Thrall (so he could ask me to change). After dying 3 times in the first 4 minutes (or less), in lane, he flames me for 5th picking an assassin (his words). So I say "dude say it IN DRAFT" then he insults. Feeds all game. Starts to play a bit better 15 or 18 minutes in after we carry all game. We end up losing. Because FUCKING REHGAR TOOK THE WRONG ULTIMATE. And says "sry misclick". We could easily win that game with Reghar's healing ultimate... ok freeloss. 3rd game both teams play well, it's a nice game. But we're better and we get 3 levels ahead mid game. We kill 4 people on spiders, I call for boss. Like typing, asking Li Ming to come directly, pinging A LOT and going boss, we have 25 secs on their 3 death timers when me and my friend start it. We ping for help, both and A LOT again. Khara stays in lane just below us for exp but doesn't help. Ming stays bot lane because who cares. The opponent come at boss 10% HP, wipe us, wipe Khara who just realized he needed to help. Then both say "we didn't knew you needed help". Yes, we'll duo the boss at level 16 like there's no opponents. Again, free loss. We were 3 levels ahead. They just felt we had won and started playing bad until the boss move and then we fall behind and lost. Free loss. Then I say "ty Ming and Khara", after game Ming insults me for being a noob. I was so glad I could at least report her for that. ^^ I'm starting to accept these people will suck forever while we don't, but when you have 2 free losses on 3 games you really feel angry. | ||

I've come to despise QM because of the shit matchmaking. It's not just that the comps are bad. The real problem is that often one team has a far superior comp to the other, which just makes the game stupid. | ||

My team: (bold added to indicate draft order) Valla Muradin <--me Diablo Nazeebo Nova Illidan Li-ming Xul Lunara Raynor Basically our nova fed constantly all game long, but we ended up dominating the endgame even in 4v5 fights since diablo took the 60 soul respawn skill and I went with battle momentum/avatar to keep my sustain at maximum. (also, our valla had to carry really hard since nazeebo was constantly off somewhere else on the map...) Still, I can't believe people drafted like this in HL. It was basically a QM game before they added the "each team needs a warrior" rule. | ||

My team: (bold added to indicate draft order) Valla Muradin <--me Diablo Nazeebo Nova Illidan Li-ming Xul Lunara Raynor Basically our nova fed constantly all game long, but we ended up dominating the endgame even in 4v5 fights since diablo took the 60 soul respawn skill and I went with battle momentum/avatar to keep my sustain at maximum. (also, our valla had to carry really hard since nazeebo was constantly off somewhere else on the map...) Still, I can't believe people drafted like this in HL. It was basically a QM game before they added the "each team needs a warrior" rule. Wow, some truely hopeless picks late in that one! Raynor, Lunara and Nova all had a golden opportunity to draft for a free win... First pick Illidan when noone wanted to support was pretty terrible as well. | ||
