So, I just played a hero league game where the enemy picked murky. Our team decided that taking double support was a good idea and so they picked Rehgar and Kharazim. At the start of the game I say "remember to take cleanse for murky". Neither Reghar nor Kharazim took cleanse...
That was just one of the highlights though, another one was Rehgar using Ancestral Heal on Baelog.
I don't deserve that shit. Seriously, after 2k games played, I would expect to play with people who has some idea of what they are doings. I don't deserve this shit.

Yeah Cleanse pretty much hard counters Murky if he goes the standard puffer+ octo build. As soon as he grabs the squishy you just cleanse him off and his ult did nothing and it turns into a fight weighted in your favor.
|
Ahhh, I assumed it had to do with that considering I've read disparaging bits about Murky taking march of the murlocs on various forums. Good to know, I'll file that one away. I just was wondering if I had missed something ni the QWE kit of murky.
|
Nah its only for Octograb. But since Murky's entire purpose in team fights if you go Puffer + Octo is to throw down a fish, grab a squishy and try to remove the character from the fight it really messes with his viability. But I honestly don't think many casual players really understand Cleanse as it is and certainly don't understand it's use as counter play to certain things.

That's ok, we all have things to learn, the problem comes when you tell them and they don't do it, or they don't even ask or anything and just copy the build they saw in a random blog.

He's a solid hero but people see the 100k hero damage and just assume they went god mode that game but in actuality it is just because you auto attack for so much and you can bully lanes to farm hero damage.
No, he's just unbelievably easy. His team fight is just as strong, if not stronger than auto attack Valla, with the added bonus that he's remarkably tanky with stim pack. With stim Drone, Raynor is a downright amove terror.

I liked Raynor more before the buff buildwise. But the stats buff and the new skills make him easier to play. Still easy to die if you don't use your superior range with him.
I take March of Murlocs against Uther picks. The cooldown is a horror, which makes Octograb better even against Cleanse. But always funny if the Divine Shielded one charges in. And then sees his 4 team mates overwhelmed by Murlocs ... and then shields off and they pounce him too.
Anyway, they probably were like "You can't tell me what to do!" -> makes sure not to pick cleanse

In QM, I like to heal as KT...we had a group, no lie, of me as KT, Lili, Malf, Morales, and Illidan. How does groupfinder manage that shit?? FML.
|
Yeah these days not having a tank seems to hurt more than not having a healer. I'm also surprised by the amount of Tassadars I've been seeing in QM. You have to know that if you play him in QM, you are granting the enemy team a healer whilst denying one for your own. Morales is in every game right now, she's dead if caught out in any way but trying to kill her heal target is so hard.
|
Well since Morales is in every game Tass is a very good pick. And even if you don't get Morales, Tass is OK as solo support. I feel him being not as good at healing as Uther is a minor factor compared to the other workings in a QM.
|
Problem is that he doesn't heal, he only shields you for a few seconds. When Uther or Malfurion heals you, that health stays. They also have ultimates aimed at healing/saving the team.
Tassadar is great as a second support but as solo support I don't see him doing well against a true healer.

we wipe 4 out of 5 on Dragon Shire
teammate and I go to cap dragon
he caps first, before me he's Kherazim, our only healer, I'm Arthas, our 2nd warrior...
we lose the next team fight because of no healing and lose the game

Last night I had a Leoric with the worst K-D ratio on the team on Blackheart's Bay sits in the fountain with all lanes pushed in and chastises the whole team for continuing to play when we've lost.
He wasn't wrong but c'mon you signed up to play, just enjoy it. He then called out everyone on the team for being bad but him as the last cannons took out the core.

I'm sure in his mind the healer let him die, so the deaths aren't his fault

So its Nova free week. But i absolutely hate having Nova or Zera on my team. I just feel like they are such gimmick sort of heroes.
Played a couple games last night were both were on my team. ...neither of them have enough sustain in team fights to truly bring enough value. And with their poor lane clearing abilities puts a strain on the rest of the team.
|
Zera has great wave clear. It's just that no one does it with him.

I guess its not that his lane clearing is bad.. its just that hes fairly vulnerable while doing it on his own. and with so many Nova's in QM this week. He can get picked off easily. Therefore i understand why not many zera's want to risk it.
That said ill will always prefer having more solid stable heroes on my teams in QM.
