It has some MMR but with only a few thousand people playing for the most part you just get random people. There is no visible ranking at the moment, though. You can upload your replays to a site like hotslog and it will try and calculate your MMR for you.

If you guys want a roundabout MMR system just upload your replays to hotslogs. While it's NOT useful to say "Hah I', 10 ranks above this player, I am better than them" it will give you a rough gauge of where you are at. Keep in mind of course it's still no replacement for a real ranked system.

You will know when you hit "high mmr" cause your que times will get really dumb and you will hit the same group of 200~ people over and over.

Just had a pretty good game as Uther, 25-0 kept most of the team alive and had a moment where we got a sick teamwipe whilst we were all on super low health dodging skillshots and so on. I love healing supports that I can be aggressive.

Uther's a blast. He's super healer that can go balls deep. He's probably my favorite Hero to play right now.

Just played another game, 20-0 it might just be because I got the game today and I'm against scrubs but he seems pretty strong. Got a question to ask about saving with the gold, do I buy tyrande (ranged healer who can go aggro but is fragile? correct me if wrong) or save for murky who from the little I've seen could be good fun to try and make work.

Could be the 8 loss streak due to having bots on my team. Are bots common?

Yes, but less once you get higher MMR. Then you just have to deal with people who are so bad you wish they were a bot instead.

1: Warrior - Stitches. Hooks good
2: Assassin - Tychus, others such as nova good but Tychus fits any comp, others more specific
3: Healer - Uther/Rehgar
3: Best Support - Uther with Rehgar very close behind
4: Specialist - Zagara, great solo lane, great in teamfights, great pusher

Tass is an all around good pick but not really "the best" in any role. He has also fallen off a tad bit since double tank is the current way teams are going and he has nothing like Giant Killer, he's actually pretty bad at damaging a tank, let alone two.

idk archon is still ridiculous, super late game does 430+ dmg per aa with splash, add storm dmg and 190dmg from static charge talent, good wave clear and map reveal + true vision i personally think this hero has no weakness

Did not say he was bad, just not the best support or best dmg role. Tychus is better and more reliable on dmg, Uther and Rehgar both are better supports than Tass as Tass isn't actually a support, he's just mislabeled basically.

How good is Sonya in competitive? I pick her a lot to pub stomp because everyone is pretty bad right now and it seems if you have any 'moba' experience, games are pretty easy when you first start out.

Whenever I play Sonya, I wish I was playing Tyrael. They fill similar roles, but Tyrael just does pretty much everything important better. The biggest difference is that Tyrael can reliably jump on ranged assassins, whereas Sonya's engagement skills (especially the Q) are more hit and miss.

Sonya has fallen out of popularity due to her recent W nerf as well as Anub'Arak does the same thing but better with less damage. He can actually survive after his initial leap in and sustain through some stuff, he can still be popped with proper focus fire however like Sonya.

I got my access about a week ago and started to waste alot of time playing it. Now the time came that I am searching either for a competetive team or for competetive people to play with. I played about 1k hours dota 2 and few thousands hours of starcraft 2.
