It didn't ruin Rdu, it didn't ruin Trump, and she's not unfamiliar with how Twitch chat works. She'll do just fine. Someone who's good enough to be a pro is good enough to not let Twitch chat get to them, regardless of their gender. The likes of Trump and Hafu simply turn on sub mode so as to avoid the spam and negativity that would undoubtedly invade their channels. If no sub mode, then their mods permaban peeps who spam and spew negativity. I imagine magicamy will do the same when/if she streams. I highly doubt we will see Forsen/Kripp/Tides level of leeway where nearly everything goes.

The fact that she was into (and apparently) good at BW makes it all the more sexy.

For someone who is a professional and a role-model as a female player, she is going to make things even harder on hersefl with comments like that. For someone who is disciplined and focused, she can do better. I expect in time that she will. Otherwise, a great piece. Thanks!!

For someone who is disciplined and focused, she can do better. I expect in time that she will. Otherwise, a great piece. Thanks!! Well it's a well established stereotype just as saying americans are all fat and french people all wear those poet hats while carrying a baguette under their arm. The work environment is more strict in countries like china/korea/japan and "westerners" could seem "lazy" to people there. It doesn't mean everybody is really like that, it's a stereotype, that's the actual point of it Oo Like saying korean starcraft pro are feelingless machines while foreigners are all cheerful and connect to fan, that's not precisely accurate, that's not entirely false (well it was more the case during BW early starcraft, now it is kind of irrelevant), that's just a stereotype, it's harmless. Also in Asia people are not butthurt about some matters we "westerners" think are taboo, speaking of one's weight in a conversation is not rude for example. You are dealing with an international community, you have to keep in mind that people should not meet YOUR expecations of what is or is not acceptable, or "professional". Professional != robot I think it's strange she could't find a place in the korean hearthstone community, is it that undevelopped?

Embracing twitch chat is the way towards immortality; Snobbery is boring, and there is nothing more negative than a streamer who thinks of themselves too highly to allow viewer spam.

This is sarcasm, right? No way does someone really think that allowing Twitch spam leads to immortality.

You're sounding like a white knight there bud. There's going to be bad trolls, sure, but there's always going to be witty people that just like to troll streamers for the fun of it. The best twitch communities have been based around people like that, you'd just have to go into an Imaqtpie stream for 10 minutes to see what a good community looks like. But at the end of the day, (RIP Hardcore) Kripparrian says it best here: Kripp Chat Best Chat
