The fact that the placement bug is still in the game drives me nuts. I carefully hoover my Defender of Argus in between 2 creatures and somehow he buffs only 1 of them. Losing games because of this is so annoying. Has Blizzard said anything about this bug?

It's clearly a hidden part of the Defender of Argus nerf. Intended change :S

It's not just DoA though, it's every creature with 'adjecent' abilities. I just lost another game because my Dire Wolf Alpha didn't want to buff my Fen Creeper. Really if they can't get this shit to work they need to stop with the 'adjecent' crap and just let it buff targeted or all minions.

Honestly I'd be 'ok' with that; atleast I know it's random in advance and can take that knowledge with me when I pick these cards.

just general QQ here from me. I have gone 1-3, 2-3, 1-3, and 1-3 the last 4 arenas. If I get a mage i grab it because I'm desperate for wins now but proceed to not draft a single AOE spell. Win first game or two then run into triple flamestrike people even if i play carefully and drop no more than 2 creatures and he ends up winning. It's got to a point where I don't even want to run arenas anymore because I simply can't compete against the luck of the draw/draft anymore. I've even gone so far as to document every turn on an excel so I can go back and double check to see if i could've done something better, and almost all of the time i make the right move at that time after analysis, it's just what can you do if your opponent has the answer for your move or you don't draw anything useful for turn 4-5 despite having countless 4-5 drops that could help.
sigh this game, i love it, but it drives me nuts at the same time.

Eurgh, feel like playing HS so open the Battle.net client and see that it's currently updating it, then see that it just isn't actually downloading anything...
Close>Open>Close>Open etc. just results in either initialising or stuck at the same spot in the update
Delete some stuff that Blizz say will help, nothing. Start deleting Battle.net folders from AppData and ProgramData, nothing. Try and uninstall the client, won't uninstall. Delete the client and the other 4 Battle.net folders, currently installing again... let's see what happens .
Edit: Nope, still nothing :/.
Weird, fixed it by disabling "Automatically Detect Settings" in IE's LAN settings :s.

Whoa, guess I'm pretty lucky then. Got Baron Geddon in my 2nd pack, Antonidas in 4th and Sylvanas this morning (~30th). Also at least 10 epics (some pretty good, ancient of war, gorehowl, gladiator bow, pyroblast, earth elemental). 200 games in total. :D

Yep, you should consider yourself lucky. I got my Bloodmage Thalnos in my 20th pack or so and Edwin vanCleef after 35+. My best epics would be Pyroblast, Ancient of War and Earth Elemental, but that's pretty much it. I had to craft good rares like Argent Commander, Defender of Argus, Knife Juggler etc. etc., as well as commons like Iron Dwarf, Argent Squire,...
Didn't spend any money on the game, so I should't whine too much about it, but there are definitely some lucky people out there

I got after 300 games and a month of playing grand total of 0 legendaries and just one gold Venture Mercenary. Matching up against people with credit card decks sucks hard. There is no kind of play you can do to trade efficiently with people who throw legendary after legendary at you.

I've played about the same amount, I will admit to throwing some money for around like 30 or so extra packs. I know a lot of people advise against dusting cards, but I do it very aggressively. Sure, I may use those ancients of lore and war down the road, but I don't plan on playing druid and Sylvanas will be used in all my decks.
So I would try to focus on like 1-3 classes (Rogue, Paladan and maaaaaybe Shaman for me), and dust anything I'm not using. That Sylvanas has done me more than the other cards sitting in that collection. Just as a disclaimer though, most people I see say to avoid this kind of dusting.

I'm considering doing the same thing to be honest. Would rather have 3 fun, strong decks than 9 half-arsed that I can't keep track of too well. With the 3 strong it'd be a lot easier and funnier to grind dust for the other ones.
Guess the problem would be a quick meta shift, by reworking basic cards or ones you dont use. Wouldn't want to sit on Hunter and Priest decks right now.

Honestly, I just love rogue, so I put all my focus onto that. Meta shift or not, I think I'd rather play what I find enjoyable than what is currently strong or over powered. That being said, there are just universally good cards that (most) people can work on. Like I have three legendaries now, one of which I wont be using even as a rogue (VanCleef) once my other ones are crafted. I have something like six to seven more to work towards and that is not including epics I still need to work towards. Once the super awesome mega decks are done, maybe I'd branch out. But that is a long ways away at the moment.

^ This guy again, just opened 2 packs more, got 1 mountain giant (and a rare) in the first and a Sword of Justice (and a rare) in the second.
