Basically the change from 9 wins to 12 wins was a SNEAKY DAM way for blizz to nerf arena rewards into the DIRT.
Not only is getting 12 wins harder than getting 9, but rewards across the board were reduced. Like before something like 6-7 wins was decent, now it is straight DUMPSTER tier.
Even winning 70%+ of arena games you are barely breaking even now gold wise and having a bad run with only 4 or 5 wins sets you back hard in the gold department.

Those Golden cards are probably rares/epics that could've netted lots of dust...

I love drafting arena decks where there are no beasts for hunter, no fireballs or pyroblasts for mage..yayy
It seems these were my last arenas for some time as Blizzard decided to screw everyone by making you doing quests for 4 days to make gold for 1 arena, where you don't get any good cards anyways. And even if you manage to get 6-8 wins, the prices are so shitty you can't even pay for another arena. Fuck that bullshit!

How about playing a 3/2 instead solves the problem and is one of the easiest plays to make on turn 2.

I fucking hate warlocks. If you're going first and don't have a 1 drop, might as well GG right there.
Even going second, if you don't have a fucking strong opener, you also can just GG.
I build a fucking early game warrior deck to just fuck every single warlock that I meet.
4 games no warlocks gg.
And then I go back to paladin and hit locks T.T. Mulligan everything and still don't get a consecrate or 1 drop.
Fuck this game. I build a deck to kill warlocks after losing to murlocs 4/5 times. Face only non-warlocks. Play pally again. Warlock x2. Fuck this shit.

Khul, were they using all legendaries? If they were, it's probably him. I mean, that appears to be arena or non-ranked, but TB does play hearthstone.

Yea I just confirmed it by watching one of his vids. I thought it wasn't him due to the current time and I was looking at the wrong name on the vid.
To clarify it was a casual game. I can't afford arena lol. Just got my beta key. Not sure if he had legendaries, i'm not very familiar with the game yet. On a side note, the matchmaking in this game is pretty bad. I was on a losing streak before this match lol. (only played against the AI until today)

Arena, a nice, midgame-centered druid deck.
Game one, I got beaten fair and square.
Then, I won four in a row.
Next game, a warrior. Early game is good for me, I have board control, but then.... DISCONNECTED.
Next game, I was just about to wipe a shaman's board on turn 9 or 10. For some strange reason, the first thing I (mis)clicked was the end turn button. But nevermind, let's keep going. Later, I have stuff that kills his 10 HP next turn even if he summons a taunt totem, but I only have 5 HP. Luckily, he only has two 0/2 totems on the board, no taunt, no cards in hand,
He draws... BLOODLUST.

Looking at that deck, it can't possibly have been me. The only deck I've played in the last few weeks is fully legendary, I don't have cards like Gnomish Inventor in it. If this was on EU, then someone probably knicked my name there.

I already know I have a shit draft when I don't even have 15 cards that cost 2 or less mana. You don't need to hammer that to me with a game where I draft utter shit (I start 1 3 5 6 4 6 and can't get boardcontrol as warlock), then with a game where the enemy mage gets a perfect draw and top decks the boardclear he needs 3 times (including the turn 7 flamestrike top deck right as I wrestled some control back).
Fuck that RNG when I'm already miserable. 0-3 inc.
Also, fuck mages. Their ability to just fucking stall and turtle and ping you with their hero power is so annoying. Doesn't matter if the guy misplayed earlier like 3 times, I don't draw good enough cards to kill him outright, he pings the low health ones with his power, and just prays and hope to top deck and when he does he just wins. Fuck that shit.

Funny, I recently got the EXACT same reward, except one of my cards wasn't golden. That was for 12-2 aswell.
