It's obvious that I should go for a) Mountain Giants and Drakes and b) Stuff that saves my ass early on (Watchers, Owls, Hellfire), but how aggressive should my mulligan be? Mulligan everything but those things? Should I keep a Watcher in my hand for a control matchup because I'll be using it (maybe) on turn 4/5? Should I keep a Sunfury Protector? A Soulfire? Halp!

The only card in the game that gives minions Immune is Bestial Wrath, which I think can only target friendly beasts. Can this even be fully tested in the game currently? the only possible scenario I can think of where you want to hit an immune minion is to cast Bestial Wrath on an enemy beast with 5 or 6 a attack (the card text doesn't say friendly beast) and then kill it with Big Game Hunter

If you drop him on turn 6, you generally have to wait for your next turn to get value out of him unless you're already holding innervate into wrath/power of the wild or something. That may sound like a pretty good of a 3 card combo, but that'd be pre-turn 7 and druids dont particularly have much card draw outside of ancient of lore etc. so it'd hard to be consistent. Also competes with more consistent 6 drops like cairne/sylvanas.

findings: 1. you can cast it on enemy beasts. 2. it works like stealth, you can use battlecries on it if it's your minion but not if it's an enemy minion. 3. random effects can still hit it. for example

If it is just quests and arena is buying packs with gold ever worth it? Crafting legendaries takes 1k dust and getting that much dust seems to be extremely difficult.

I'm not very good at arena or like it very much(most of the time it doesn't even pay off the 150 gold I invest, 0-3 wins is my average) and would rather play constructed. But playing constructed using the most basic cards is torture when you see people rank 18-25 with 4-5 legendaries in their deck. If you don't want to play arena then you have to buy packs. The only source of dust is disenchanting cards that you get from packs (not the ones you get from leveling or Naxx). You could also give Naxx a shot, but it might be challenging for new players. Look around, I think a page or two ago people were posting free to play / cheap decks to use. Those can help you get started. Also, check out this page for some hidden quests to get some gold / packs too (1 time only though): http://www.hearthhead.com/achievements

And I would rather just use my gold on arena cause if I don't get a crap deck/draws it gives me nice prizes and higher chance of getting legendaries. Is it worth buying 1 wing of nax for what is like 4-8 packs worth of gold.

You said you don't like arena and you don't do very well. So if that's true then you're wasting your time spending 150g for a pack of cards and a bonus prize. This is a game after all, you gotta enjoy what you do. Naxx is expensive, that's true. There are quite a few guaranteed good cards from that set though. But I think it really depends on which class you prefer playing before I suggest anything (since you can only unlock the wings in one order). Also, keep in mind that beginning of the month is always going to be harder in constructed due to everyone's rank getting rolled back. You can do very well with just a few cards if you understand the basics once those guys all rank back up to where they should be. * There's no better chance for a Legendary from arena. The pack you get from arena is identical to the one you get from the store.
