Albeit arena is pretty fun, but you get the feeling you were screwed a lot. The fact you can save dailies and earn gold to play for free is really cool though, I do see that keeping myself interested in it as a casual game.

So apparently they gave 700keys to reddit.
This practice of distributing the betakeys to social sites/e-famous people is just disgusting, see i dont think there is anything wrong to give the exclusive closed beta keys to some VIPs or famous websites etc (everyone does that) but in this case every giveaway you see is related to liking/following some sites on twitter/facebook, people are literally being used as a pawn to boost the 'like' counts. What the hell is the point of all this. Nobody cares about these sites (if they did they would have followed them beforehand) and they want us gone through all these ridiculous like/follow some pages in which some people may just unlike them once the giveaway is done. I bet most of the people behind the sites don't like that either.
Do the good old beta test, give half of it to the people who actually want to play the game, if the game was truly good then they will spread the word (while they help you for the balance/testing your server stability etc), half to whatever vip/websites etc - if the game is truly good, why do you need all these retarded level of exposure of the game on twitter/fb. Sound like blizzard's PR are working too hard or they pumped too much money into that department.
I honestly wont bother much except for the fact that i cant run dota2 on my laptop so i am not playing any game these days so it is such a chore to me. I gave away 7 betakeys for dota2 when the game was in a highly exclusive beta phase (half to friends half to random tlers that i dont even know who they are now).
