Look at that. Deathwing, it was faceless manipulator TWICE for 3deathwings, then a Mindcontrol back into his hand and a inner fire to double the hp when a 8/8 taunt was set down. That guy drew the best cards ever in the nick of time. Wow. | ||

I'm not amazing myself so take my analysis with a grain of salt, but it seems like the players who are strong at evaluating good draft cards individually and in the specific draft deck, along with strong decision making in matches, do pretty well in Arena. This is especially apparent from watching streams of MTG pros playing Hearthstone. They're really exceptional at crafting solid decks, both in constructed and draft. I'm sure this comes with a lot of experience. | ||

He's completely self-sustained through gold earned by playing arenas. Now, will this be possible once the game is launched? I'm not sure, but the player base is so small right now and Trump being arguably the best player makes 7/8/9 win arenas pretty damn easy for him. | ||

I believe when the game goes live the average skill level will plummet allowing mediocre beta players to get very high wins in arena. | ||

Am afraid it will end up beeing quiet expensive though if you want to be competitive at a higher level. You will be able to eventually get all the rare and legendary cards for free but it will take a long time,and all that time you are fighting at a disadvantage against people who did buy cards and have thoose rare+ cards way sooner, making winning and earning cards even slower. Arena i like the most at first sight, costing 1.99 a try. Everyone is equall there and with 7 wins before 3 losses you make enough to play again for free. Problem is though that the rating system will match you with people of equall strenght, so eventually it will be nearly impossible to play that for free no matter how good you are. Still cant wait to try it think everyone who did sign up for beta will eventually get a key, i heard one streamer say so. | ||
