I doubt they will, concidering people are already spending money on it. You don't keep the cards, you get your money's worth back in gold so you can buy the same exact amount of cards or arena entry again when the game comes out. They only have 2 HUGE chat boxes alerting you to what is going to happen.
Also one learns a great deal while playing and on top of that, beta testers get a golden legendary card as a reward. So totally worth it!

Only the 9th turn!

Show off.

I am still deciding on which class I really like. Hunter for some reason I cannot do very well with and I hate mages in general (poly is sooo lame). I think out of joy, Warrior, Paladin, and Rogue are my favorite to play (with basic decks, I did not buy elite decks so it could change based on more cards).

Any ways to get a key besides just waiting? I don't mind the wait but this game looks insanely addicting.

Whore yourself out on the reddit thread, or find someone else with keys to give away and do the same.

Just had a satisfying game that helps demonstrate how more Epics/Legendaries do not necessarily equate to a win.
My daily quest was to get 2 wins with a Paladin. I pulled up a deck that revolved around Raid Leader-style buffs, taunters and Divine Shield protection. The deck has 4 rares, 1 epic that I never drew, and the rest commons or basics.
Matched up against a warlock, who over the course of the game played Nat Pagle and drew 1 or 2 cards from it, Ragnaros who was summarily executed, and Lord Jaraxus as his last-ditch effort to live. His Turn 3 play caught me off guard, bringing out Twilight Drake with 8/8 power. He also played a few other rares that I don't recall, but nothing extraordinary. The game ended with both of us at ~7 cards in deck and my Paladin at ~20 life.
I'm sure things could have gone very different, and it's possible he made some mistakes (hard to determine since I don't know what he has in hand). All and all, I think patient play and smart trades more than made up for a deficit in card rarity.

From the vague memories of my brother talking about WoW BC, Paladin was OP there too.

Druids were the most OP healer by far lol. Pallies were amazing in the very very beginning and at the very very end though.

I took a small risk trying to buy a beta key and got scammed. The addiction is strong.

i was thinking of checking out some streams for this and I was wondering what rankings indicate. eg if somebody says they are master rated is that a high rating?

The ratings are medals you receive, somewhat akin to the StarCraft 2 ladder, with novice, journeyman, and then bronze through grandmaster ranks Here's a picture: + Show Spoiler + Note the stars. From watching streams, it appears the ratings are further divided into 3 sub ranks based on the # of stars you have. So if you were a "2 star bronze", then next level up would be a "3 star bronze" followed by a "1 star silver", etc.

Pretty much, paladins were always easy to stop from casting or drain their mana.
