Blizzard can send you multiple beta keys regardless if you already are in the beta or not.

Greetings, Thanks for participating in the recent closed beta test for Blizzard Entertainment's new Battle.net® desktop app! As a token of appreciation for helping us out by downloading, installing, and logging in to the app during the closed-beta period, we're inviting you to join the Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft beta test! We’re thrilled to have you join us! Your feedback will help us get the final touches in before the game is ready to launch! You can claim the key to attach Hearthstone to your personal Battle.net account and start developing your deck-building strategies, or—if you like—you can give it to a friend (and start developing a soon-to-be rival). Your Hearthstone Game Key: ..................

You helped test the new desktop app thus your are getting a beta key for hearthstone. It does not matter that you already have access to the Hearthstone beta, they are just giving away keys for helping test the desktop app (it was even announced at one point, but idk where I read it). Also note the last line of their message before your key, " or—if you like—you can give it to a friend (and start developing a soon-to-be rival)." They will be starting open beta sometime next month, currently Hearthstone is still in closed beta. When open beta starts those who were in the closed beta will simply see a influx of new players as anyone and everyone can now get the game (at least afaik).

Some of the options were: - Paid tournaments - Multiple profiles - Replays - More detailed stat tracking - Friends list linked to social media (FB, Twitter, etc) <<< lol. - Raids - Chat rooms

Really? They have to ask people if they should add stat tracking and replays? It's 2013. Why is every new Blizzard game a downgrade from previous ones? These kinds of things should be part of the core game, not afterthoughts.

They had admitted they wanted to appeal to casual masses with HS, now there's a push to make it an esport, I doubt that replays were wanted without the esports following.

Besides, if you look at other TCG's I don't think many of them have eSports fixings either. DoC has replays, but no way to play them (without some tricks) and still hasn't released spectator mode yet. As far as I can tell none of the Magic games have spectator or replay features either (but I could be wrong, I got bored of those games pretty quickly). Now, I have no idea why these games didn't consider it part of their core features considering MtG has a very active pro-scene.

At Blizzcon they mentioned this'll be the first game that'll be released in a year's time (not sure where they started counting from, but in any case it's a fast cycle by Blizz standards). Magic the Gathering Online has replay features, has had them for quite awhile. I used them quite a bit when I used to test for tournaments, although the feature is buggy(like much of Magic Online) Magic the Gathering has(HAD now lol, temporarily disabled I guess) the absolute best e-sport feature ever anyways, the ability to enter automated online tournaments with good prize support at demand. I really wish every other competitive game I've played had implemented tournaments. I don't (personally) consider spectator mode an essential feature in a turn based game with hidden information but I do hope they add the feature for those that desire it and to make it easier for online tournament organizers.

you will be able to play any region but your cards and decks will be locked to the specific region you earned/bought them in. So if you're an NA player who chooses to play on EU, you will not have any of your NA cards. What a fucking joke. Sometimes I really have to wonder what the hell happened over at blizzard. I enjoy seamless global play on all of my other major non-blizzard games, it's shocking that they can't ever get this right.
