Canadian Anime Singer: Himeka

Tensai176 Canada2061 Posts June 02 2009 04:03 GMT #1 Brief Summary of her: Catherine St-Onge (born July 20), better known by her stage name Himeka (stylized as HIMEKA) is an anime song singer of French Canadian descent. While fluent in English and her native French, she is moderately proficient in Japanese. Her stage name, Himeka, comes from a character she created in a fictional story she wrote when she was 13 years old. She entered a competition called, "Aniplex Anison Grand Prix" or something like that and hearing her just blew me away. And the final stage with the gift being handed out, the song she sang was from Fate/Stay Night. Crazy thing is she was only in Japan for six months. Just wow. Then I did a little more digging and found out she did the opening to Valkyria Chronicles. I thought she gave these songs justice and there was no hint of english-accent on the Japanese. <--- Instant-Fan.
