I want to buy one of those projectors now, but they cost thousands. Man I'd have so much fun drawing stuff with those and diverting people's attention, causing traffic accidents, and scaring little kids.
You don't use projectors. You need an SLR camera and a light (most people just use a torch when they're mucking around with this stuff, but you can get some sophisticated light stuff) then just set your camera on long exposure and a correct aperture for the lighting and 'draw' with the torch/light while the camera is taking the shot.
I looked at that site, and I must say, reverse graffiti seems really cool lol. Not to mention there is no way to fine someone for doing it.
Basically graffiti artists take the slogan of some company, and instead of spraypainting it on a wall, they clean the areas where the letters are. This makes it stand out exremely well on a dirty wall background. They are unable to be fined for this, because, they are just cleaning the wall.
Heres some pics:
In the last picture, they just removed some of the posters, leaving the wall behind it. Spelling hype.

Interestingly enough, I was actually doing this last night with a friend. He works out the exact measurements for aperture though, he's done a course on photography and knows his stuff (I'm taking it next year sem 1), though I do understand a lot of it.
Here's 3 that we made:
while no means as good as the other posted stuff, this was our first attempt at it heh.
The hardest part is planning it out, and then making sure you can finish it in the time period you give yourself.
