Wouldnt this method be better for sharing files over say, a campus network?

DCC+ or w.e it is is similar to torrent right? since there are more users on a campus network, you would have nice speeds and all while getting an ftp on a campus network would have more people on it.. which i know can't reallly help that server | ||
