Totally true, but we also have the same land mass as the USA but only 1/13th of the people to support it, so there has to be a trade off somewhere. I'm at least getting 5Mb/s on a good day, but only 0.2Mb/s upload.

For €10/month, getting raised to €15/month soon. Gotta love the university

Hell of a bump.
I like how the poll goes from 10-15 to 30-60 with nothing in between...
And finally, the connection I'm using now is the best I've ever had for my home:

Yeah, what's with the jump? I was looking for it because that's what my ISP advertised.
Anyway, it's higher than advertised.

Since it sais picture or it did not happen, the servers for the speedtest so have to use another one and flash are just too slow for those speeds. 1Gbit I have.
Upload is faster than that too, servers are so bad these days qq =(
What sucks is you just cannot use it for ANYTHING legal and get something worthwhile out of it compared to 100mbit.

Yep. Australia sucks bawls. EDIT:

Too bad Slovenia isn't on the graph, we have a lot of ISPs that provide 10+mbit/s connections at very reasonable prices and 3 ISPs that have optical networks where 10/10 is the lowest package, for 1 even 20/20.

100/10 mbit, I pay 19.9€ a month.
|
30/3 mb in UK, have to pay a LOT for it though.
|
Costs like 100 sgd(80 usd) which includes other stuff like sports channel.
|
Australian internet is shit. i get about 1.5mbps down and 0.7mbps up. still can stream and play starcraft though XD
|
I get 8mb down, .8mb up. I could get 100mb down for something like 80/month, but since im not at a permanent residence im holding back. I do live in an area of the U.S. that is pretty damn cheap compared to the rest of the country, so maybe that is why I pay a bit less than some of you for better download.

Those speeds can't really be used for anything beside multiple computers downloading/uploading files. That download bandwidth totally kills more or less any SATA hdd. :D
I've been offered 1000/100 Mbit but there's just no real private application for it.

2mbps, although it's advertised as 8, lol.
good times, not really...
|
100 mbit. I usually have around 5-6 mb/s down and upload.
|
Newzealand > Aussie in that old graph? I APPROVE.

150 mbit download / 10 mbit upload for ~44 USD a month, used to have 8 mbit download / 1 mbit upload for ~10 USD a month.
