Our volume 'recently' got upgraded from 25 gig to 100. And is the OP wrong? If you don't know how to test your connection go to Speakeasy.net and pick the server closest to you. You will get a speed in kilobytes per second, just divide it by 1000 to get your Mbit rating. Don't you need to muliply that number by 8 as well?

Im paying around $30 a month for a 5mbit connection, of which I only recieve about 4. According to the article in both japan and korea pay under $1 for each Megabit. Assuming they pay around $.80 that means for $80 they get a 100mbit connection.. Well obviously you have to take into consideration the the faster the connection is the less you will generally pay per mb of speed, Nobody will make money providing 1mb connections for 80cents/month, and the worth of extra MB decreases, there is much bigger difference between 1mb and 50mb connection then 50mb, and 100mb connection in practice. As for me Fibber on the other side of the small street with 120mb connection, and me with 2mb wireless connection on the other :/.

Pando Network's report: 1. South Korea 2. Romania 3. Bulgaria 4. Lithuania 5. Latvia 6. Japan 7. Sweden 8. Ukraine 9. Denmark 10. Hong Kong

Anyhow, we are supposed to have 1000Mbit down but I have yet to only access a little above 200, on upload I haven't reached more than 80Mbit. The payment for it is bundled with the rent in some mandatory payment for TV and internet at ~22$.
