NC was +2 Biden, most likely it'll be +1 Trump by the end of the counting.
Wisconsin and Michigan were +6 for Biden, Wisconsin is less than 1 point, Michigan probs will be around 2-3 points.
These polls were once again an entire standard deviation off in favor of Trump. Maybe it's just the Trump effect, maybe hte polls are just bad. who knows anymore, regardless, they suck.

NYT and ABC called Michigan for Biden.

I wonder without Trump if polls go back to be somewhat reliable. I think it is clear they don't know how to factor the Trump effect but without maybe.
I know a lot of polling firms are going to lose some money though as I can't see anybody trusting them anymore and who wants to pay for them if they are wrong anyway

Yeah, it's just baffling to me how poorly the polling errors are correlated. Why would PA dodge it when WI/MI didn't?

Weren't polls more accurate for the 2018 midterms? Could be the Trump factor leaning things in his favor during presidential elections.
|
In other news, Trump satellites are now going on national television and spewing discredited conspiracy theories proven to be hoaxes. I suspect this means they know they've lost AZ/NV, and that the adults in the room suspect they could lose PA.

Worth to notice at some point we had the same polls problems withe the LePen. It took 20 yrs to have something more accurate.

Your guy is already likely to win, no need to lie anymore. You can send him email and ask him. I'm not Trump so I can't answer you. That's not an excuse to forge lies, though. Why would anyone say "we think the voting should stop" when the voting has already stopped? There was no voting happening at that time anywhere in the country. Even mail-ins in NC/potential mail-ins in PA had already been postmarked. Trump's children are literally declaring victory in PA with a million outstanding ballots, and his supporters are telling people to stop the vote. Do you think this is not what he wants? Email him and ask him. How should I know why he says things. Not an excuse to forge lies, though.
What was the actual quote? The guardian is reporting:
"I‘m not here to declare that we won, but I am here to report that when the count is finished, we will be the winner"
Which sounds like he did not declare victory but expects to win?
I haven't watched the address, sorry.
Edit: watched it. He said:
"It is clear that we are winning in enough states to reach 270. I‘m not here to declare that we won, but I am here to report that when the count is finished, we will be the winner"
Now I'm confused. What's wrong with what he said?

Just a map update, I've called Nevada a while ago because I think the remaining votes are clearly going to Biden. This means just 1 more state needs to be called. If we assume AP is right, the election is effectively over with Arizona being blue.
Trump needs to win 3 coin flips right now in PA, Arizona, and GA to win.

AP, Fox, and NPR have already called AZ for Biden.
