Is there a good technique that makes putting them in and taking them out easier?
Also, does it get easier after a while and if so how long does it take to get used to?

My advice would be to try to find your own technique and what works best for you. What I currently do is place the contact on my main hand (right) index finger and use my left fingers to hold down the bottom eyelid. I then place the contact on the bottom white part of my eye and slide it upwards when I release eyelid. It also takes time to get use to wearing it but eventually it will come no matter how much you squirm when things go in your eye. It took a few days for me to get used to it.

but soft contacts are so bad for your eyes but hard contacts dont make your eyes worse. but if you have soft i would think its harder to put in cus there so big but easier to take out cus hard contacts you cant just grab them and pull it out. you gotta use those suction cup thingys they take awhile to get used to but after like the first week of putting them in and out it shoudl be easy enough for you to do it like its nothing

then i watched how my sister does it and wut u do is when u put them in try to put them on the side of ur eye not the pupil itself. blink a couple times after and it should into place, but if u feel uncomfortable m take it out and do it again. now when u take it out try grabbing the botton of the contacts not the middle

Using it over a long period of time, it will end up so bad you can't even get lasik to fix it. Hard contacts, although less comfortable, do not.

I remember taking those things out of my eyes was the most frustrating thing ever for a few days. YOu'll get use to taking them in and out and will be able to do it in seconds soon enough. edit: It took me about 5days to a week if I remmember correctly

It also helps if the finger you hold the contact in is completely dry. If you fail to get it in the first time, wipe it down before you try again. After i put mine in, it helps to keep the eye closed, and look up down left right, to center it. Also, do it in front of a mirror, and put a towel underneath you. Eventually you'll blink out a contact,or it will fall off your fingertip, and its a lot easier to find it on a towel than somewhere in the sink.

I'm also a little nervous about putting them in/out. One person told me if you can get yourself to be able to touch your eye with your finger, then that will make it easier. Is this true? i would suggest getting hard contacts, there a pain in the ass, after 1-3 weeks or so they won't necessarily hurt but it still will be uncomfortable. when wearing soft lenses even the first time you put it in it feels perfectly fine like nothing is even in your eye.. but after a couple of years your eyes get worse and worse VERY bad. hard contacts can take aroudn a year before it feels 100% comfortable and feels like nothing is in your eye.. however i find that it its worth it considering that i wont go nearly blind by soft lenses i would much rather suffer a little pain and discomfort for now and be able to see then have temporary comfort and blind in a few years thats my suggestion.. unless you are going to wear lenses for a shor tperiod of time and gonna get lasix then by all means go with the soft o yea hard contatcts tend to move around easily on your eyeball. even if you rub them they can move the white part and there a pain but hey i find its worth it but when you first wear them it feels like a piece of plastic is on your eyeball and it burnss
