So the Enigma Code's been cracked a long time ago and it's still being used despite every evidence that it's being cracked? Can't be a dog whistle- either it's a regular whistle or the code is imagined by uncharitable interpretations. As for the positioning of the eagle. Reminds me more of certain groups analyzing the album art for pagan iconography and the all-seeing eye (any time a photo is taking where one eye is hidden, was evidence of Egyptian paganism). Some milquetoast artist standing on a white chair- trace the shape of the chair legs, it forms a pagan symbol! (no joke). No, this is why they’re dog whistles. They’re plausibly deniable. 88 being a pretty commonly known one. European footballers like the Italian Guanluigi Buffon have been criticised for favouring the number on their jerseys. The connotations aren’t super obscure. If it’s part of a ton of other seemingly plausibly deniably dogwhistles at the same time, from the same person/administration what is one to think?

How many tweets has Trump ever written and what % of those are 14 words? You can’t stop deranged people from looking for meaning in chance, but it’s madness to try and combat them on their turf. You don’t need to do this shit to make a case that Trump is bad for America, and I really doubt it convinces anyone who is not already in the choir. You’ve defended the eagle symbol, 88$ baseballs, and 14 word tweets. I’m afraid the coincidences keep coming, and soon you’ll be accused of knowingly defending white supremacy. Just a little joke in the “world revolves around Trump” era of ... America I suppose. Also, somebody count if I’m secretly using 88 syllables or something.

Counting words or syllables used is silly business though, agreed there.

Oh the mutual taunting? Seems like ages ago! We need the wiki to help us all avoid being called Nazis. Stars of David, 88, eagles, 14 words. (Or fuck the system, we’re not Nazis do go be paranoid conspiracy theorists on some shittier forums. Is revleft still around?)

As I’ve said counting syllables in a Tweet is silly, it’s not a dog whistle if it’s that subtle If your baseball is 88 dollars and I assume this has been pointed out, make it 87 or 89. Not that hard to do.

Small quote - "No more of Jared's woke s***." Another said Trump has indicated that following Kushner's advice has harmed him politically. (The report is at https://www.axios.com/trump-kushner-second-thoughts-408d5a33-725d-442a-88e4-d6ab6742c139.html )

Some milquetoast artist standing on a white chair- trace the shape of the chair legs, it forms a pagan symbol! (no joke). I think the religious aspect you point out is well made. It is reminiscent of old televangelist-y pastors showing the audience vague symbology of album covers or songs played backwards. Then as now, it was played straight. Nobody stopped to wonder if the overt glorification of sin was plenty already, to find subversive pagan animals or biblical numerology. The speakers were earnest, and the audience listened earnestly. It has all the appeal of a good Dan Brown novel. Not just an evil antagonist, but one with secret connections to racial hierarchy ideology. Read more, or pay me 30$ a month for my newsletter, where we explore KKK symbols in the negative space of Trump hotel signs. I hope the country prospers and heals so in the next 5 years, we look back and laugh at the hysteria. In five years, I’ll hate life if it’s still “(R) is a obviously a secret Nazi sending secret codes to his nefarious constituency! Next up: Why is society so politically polarized? Answers to this tough question up next!”

While scrolling through reddit today I saw somebody made a post about learning about it after having 1488 as part of his username for 15+ years without knowing the significance of it and how that must have shaped the reaction some people took to him.

You hope the country ‘prospers and heals’ based on not criticising vast swathes of the country not being criticised for dog whistling. Which is basically your standard here Again I can’t stress this enough, Trump’s store can throw out an 88 dollar baseball, it’s a price point. There’s no fucking way they’ve not been complaints, people saying what 88 stands for and it as yet hasn’t been shifted to 87 or 89 dollars.

But I suppose that, the $88 baseball, and Trump openly retweeting white supremacists shouting "White Power" is purely a coincidence. Maybe some obfuscation and appeals to skewed morality are in order. I also love the implication that [secret] Nazi using [secret] code to appeal to [secret] constituency is supposed to be patently ridiculous, but the claim of a shadowy, secret Deep State that literally has no face or name is supposed to be on the up and up? Mmmmmkay.

Trump needs to be removed from office and have his criminal past and current toroughly examined and acted upon by the judiciary. A proper reveal of the fallibility of the man, rather than the glorified ideal of the cult. Only then can the healing from the last four years start. Edit: covfefe, clarification

The guy has been white collar criminal for decades.
