It's basically games with communities that can rally vs. games with no community. Chrono Trigger vs. Melee and Super Mario World vs. Undertale are basically the same thing. Chrono Trigger and Mario World are both classics on the SNES, which is quite the compliment considering the SNES catalog was loaded with good games. However, Melee and Undertale have current communities that can grab a bunch of people to vote just for the sake of voting for the game they like. It's pretty unfair to old games, but that's just the way it is I suppose

Yeah but Melee actually has a competitive scene and is actually still popular with kids who grew up after the SNES era. CT is pretty classic, but Melee is actually still relevant. CT getting this far sounds about right to me, although Undertale shouldn't have gotten this far.

These are the easiest Division finals. Mario 64 and Pokemon ezpz.

The next one is kinda easy too, beacuse Ocarina of Time should beat Castlevania (<3) and the other Zeldas.

Now, with SMRPG vs RE4 and MGS vs MGS3 it gets interesting.

Well nothing is pointing that Pokemon is performing better than SMW right now. SMW lost the lead late morning so we'll see if that happens with Pokemon. Rallies are already happening so I'm assuming it'll keep going. Just a matter of whether or not Pokemon has the lasting power that SMW didn't have.

Honestly I liked Undertale. I do think it is a bit trollish to consider the game for "best ever" but then again this whole contest has been one big fiasco as far as I am concerned.

I might give it a try. Loved Golden Sun: TLA and I think that qualifies as JRPG so Chrono Trigger can't be bad. I just never owned a SNES. Too busy with Starcraft and Xenoblade atm though.

You can also play Chrono Trigger for the DS; regardless of what platform you use, it's definitely worth playing
