Also, hasn't Wilders been caught multiple times already of spreading fake news? Like that Twitter post with the fake image where he accused Pechtold of something or other?

Well it's a propaganda far right ecochamber. Get angry and a bit mean people and make them more angry and a bit meaner.

It's literally the counter-part to Huffington post. No real journalists, just a bunch of hyperbolic/extremist blog/opinion pieces gathered in one place. EDIT: Politics in Europe are less divided generally speaking because we have more than two parties meaning everyone can find someone to represent them without having to be taken hostage by the extremists in either direction.

Thank god barely anyone in Germany uses twitter, humans aren't ready for it. We have now a fair share of "alternative media" in Czech and it really contributes solidly to the divide, which has become much more pronounced in the last few years. Suddenly we have a trench warfare between "good citizens" (nationalistic, xenofobic idiots) and "Prague coffeehouse" (marxist SJW conspiring to establish Sharia and 100% taxes, who do not exist, but anybody with a brain gets eventually labeled that) and this is very purposefully kept alive by a wide range of media from "trying to look like normal news" trough outright conspiracy to "we are paid for by Putin and aren't even ashamed to admit it". The funniest and most prominent is called roughly "Parliament letters" and they have billboards with "nobody tells you what to write" ... except somebody does, because most of the articles are actually paid PR by politicians, sometimes paid from public budgets (if the politicians in question hold an office with a budget to waste). The narrative is varied, but the basic tones are obvious: classical political parties (potential except the one who paid for this one) are corrupt, steal all your money; migration is a life threat (despite there being zero migrants in the country as noone wants to stay), impeding doom from various reasons, something has to be done, democracy is not working properly, <insert world superpower> is bad and all bad you here about <insert the other one> is lies, everything is lies, SJWs (we don't use that word, THANK GOD, but the gist remains) want to make you all gay, defend Christian values (in the most atheist country on the planet), poverty strikes the country, people are worse and worse by everyday, we give money that could cure our children to immigrants/Roma/whomever we hate this week ... I actually see many parallels between what's happening now in Czech and the "great American divide" - if you try to talk with the common folk, most of them are heavily entrenched in their positions, supported by loads of fake news, and everyone who doesn't live in the same made up terrible falling-apart almost-apocalyptic wasteland they do is a mortal enemy. I don't think this was like this five years ago but now even starting a discussion is pretty hard. Because we are at war, you idiot!

Not sure if it's really fake news or just making a mistake. Anyway he's not the only. Roemer from the SP (far left) often takes things way out of context or lies.

Huffington post is biased by had some journalistic merit. Mother Jones is more like it. I think the reason EU politics are less divisive is because a higher % of people live at our nest major cities/centers of power, the social democratic model is overwhelmingly popular and religion is basically a non-factor.

Macron ahead of Le Pen in French election’s first round: poll Buoyed by a string of endorsements, Macron gained six points in the last two weeks. Centrist candidate Emmanuel Macron has overtaken his far-right rival Marine Le Pen in the race for the French presidency, according to a poll published Thursday. Macron is slated to win the vote’s first round in April with 26 percent of the vote, one percentage point ahead of Le Pen who would come in at 25 percent, a latest Harris Interactive poll, which surveyed 4,932 people between March 6 and 8, showed. Embattled conservative candidate François Fillon would be eliminated, with 20 percent of the vote. Macron’s popularity has risen significantly over the past two weeks, his six-point jump partly attributable to the support of veteran politician François Bayrou. Former Socialist mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë also publicly endorsed Macron this week. “We must give support to the candidate who can beat Marine Le Pen,” Delanoë said. Macron’s immediate rivals Le Pen and Fillon have both been racked by “fake jobs” scandals. Fillon was put under formal investigation earlier this month for employing his wife and children for parliamentary work they may not have done. A recent rally in Paris may yet signal a comeback for Fillon, while Marine Le Pen’s ratings have been stable, despite an ongoing investigation over misused EU funds, the poll found. Despite Le Pen’s popularity in the first round vote, the Harris Interactive poll predicted Macron would beat Le Pen by 30 percentage points in the second round, with 65 percent of the vote compared to 35 percent for Le Pen. Macron is going to get demolished in the debates and he has the most volatile electorate, no way he stays that high. Being the possible favorite is going to be a huge handicap for him, he's going to be the main target for all others.

Dutch voters head to the polls on March 15, with a whopping 28 parties vying for the right to form a new government. Given the fractured political environment, it could take as many as six different groups to form a ruling coalition, making this year’s race the most complicated—and pivotal—in years. Here are the main players, their party associations and the number of seats each currently holds in Parliament: www.bloomberg.com Follow the link if you're interested in a little summary of the leaders of the main parties. Not sure why they included the animal party but the rest makes sense.
