Metallica is a decent choice. Saw them live twice in the mid nineties, were both pretty fun shows. I really only like their Black album and Justice for all though. But what I really love is how they told Les Claypool he was too good to be their bass player when he auditioned. Who knows, if they gave him the job, there might have never been a Primus.

If they were booking such a huge band, they should've picked Cannibal Corpse, or some other band that has such a high profile appreciation for Blizzard games. Hell, WoW fans alone could've netted them 3 or 4 of the most prominent hard rock and metal bands out there. I don't understand what Metallica's connection to Blizzard is.

I actually like Cannibal Corpse but they are a band that are literally unlistenable to those not into that kind of music, although point take with Corpsegrinder being a renowned WoW fiend.

Cannibal corpses would be great. Of course nothing beats this in SC metal.

Metallica is really great! Saw them this summer and they blew me away. Those guys have perfected showmanship and performance. Also great music. I'm happy for the blizzcon visitors.
