neither your referencing moltke's grand quote or the quote itself are puns. not to be a total jerk or anything, but to clarify for future reference.
obvious? yes. pun? no.
You're in misunderstanding.
"the obvious pun of having you to rate her"
If I said "Go on Moltke, rate her by your own criteria, how do you find her attitude in accordance to the bourgeois qualities of her pedigree?" or something along the lines, that would have been an obvious pun. OK now?
PS.: Hate explaining trivial matters.
Moltke, how does it fare in your equation that she's been dead for almost 30 years now? All her other qualities included.
Wait no, there was no malice in my question. I'm just curious as to how your view of a person changes (if at all) if it's a historical person. I mean you probably wouldn't find Marie Antoinette "physically attractive" or whatever, regardless of any pictures and paintings you could find about her, right? Should be the same case here. She was a celebrity, had her prime time, is long gone. Probably not the most reasonable to discuss her "attractiveness" now.
To answer your original question molte: I'm not usually racist but seriously I have a problem with the Black and white minority, they are usually acting like they are 50 years behind... I mean it's almost like they are Amish!

Simply looking at people doesn't do anything for me generally. I have mind-blindness and am generally not interested in non-verbal/literal communication.

Anywayz I went home and played StarCraft and won 10 games in a row.
For some reason I was able to think more clearly in the games, and was calmer. Anyone have any similar expiriences. :p

It's important to make the distinction between beauty, attractiveness and hotness. She's definitely not hot, I don't find her attractive either, but if you take her making faces for granted (it's part of her performance), she does possess grace and is beautiful in a way. Hair and clothing is too temporary to take into account. In the same way, many things can be beautiful, even old ppl, i've seen a few 50+ women/men of which I thought they were beautiful. This has nothing to do with me wanting anything from this person, just that something about them that stirs up an emotion.
But attractive or hot, definitely not. Attractiveness is very personal though...other ppl like 13-yr old japanese girls in bunny suits.
The real question may not be how attractive we find her, but rather why MoltkeWarding wants to know what we think. Mind you it might be as simple as him wanting to share music he loves or appreciates.
Now since the post is out side of the norm, I can not help but speculate, and what follows is nothing more, than just that.
Maybe he wants to catch guys like me off guard and force them to watch a few seconds of opera, which I'd rather be spared. I am opera-challenged. The nearest thing to opera I liked was the Diva for the 5th element.
Maybe he merely wants to share with us a piece of music he really likes. The poll is just a ruse, a distraction. From my perspective or anyone else that dislikes opera he is showing us a ringing bell, to distract us from the bat he is holding behind him.
Imagine if he posted the video with a comment like: "I really enjoy this piece of music." It be a good way of finding out how many opera fans this forum had, but he 'might' just get flamed to no end, and those that normally close their minds to opera will remain equally closed. I am not sure though..
This way at least he gets more objective opinions regarding the music, more people listening to it and at the same time diverts the flaming to an unimportant and unrelated issues such as whether the woman is attractive or not, or what his motives for asking us was..
