Plus there's over 400 people at the event here, 2013 there was not even close to half that signed up. Granted that doesn't mean anything for donation numbers but it's certainly continued to grow from last year, where the goal was 250k. | ||

Banjo is the start of people reacting to Mario 64 - the breakthrough platformer of the time - and thinking that the way to improve upon it was to add more and more collectables in a game. Needless to say, this didn't work too well as people got tired of collecting a bajillion things to progress. Banjo was early enough that people still bought the game. | ||
